About the role and what you’ll do
We are looking for an experienced Sales Manager to drive business growth across Morocco and wider African countries with a focus on French-speaking countries. The role combines new business development with managing and growing existing customer relationships.
Develop and execute sales strategies across Morocco and Francophone Africa
Identify and develop new business opportunities across banking, financial services, fintech, government, telecom and enterprise sectors
Manage and grow existing customer relationships and identify account development opportunities
Build relationships with senior decision-makers and key stakeholders
Manage the full sales cycle from prospecting and customer engagement through to negotiation and order closure
Prepare customer presentations, proposals, quotations and commercial offers
Work with internal teams to develop customer solutions and respond to customer requirements
Monitor market trends, customer needs and competitor activity
Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular sales forecasts and reporting
Take responsibility for achieving agreed sales and revenue targets
Represent TOPPAN Security at customer meetings, industry events and conferences
Travel across the assigned markets as required by business activity
About you
You are a commercially driven sales professional with a strong track record in business development and customer relationship management. You are confident engaging with senior stakeholders, managing the sales cycle and identifying opportunities for growth. You are proactive, resilient and comfortable working independently across multiple markets.
Experience and knowledge
Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Finance or a related field; MBA is an advantage
At least 5 years of relevant sales/business development experience in the payments industry
Experience in payments, banking, financial services, fintech, digital identity, cybersecurity or related technology sectors is preferred; strong B2B sales experience in adjacent industries will also be considered
Proven experience in both new business development and account management
Strong understanding of the B2B sales cycle, including prospecting, proposals, negotiation and closing
Proven ability to achieve sales targets and manage a sales pipeline
Strong commercial, negotiation and stakeholder management skills
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
Fluency in French, English and Arabic
Location, travel and eligibility
Location: Casablanca, Morocco
Approximately 50% travel, depending on business requirements
Must have, or be able to obtain, a valid passport and be legally eligible to work in Morocco
