Role Overview
The Maintenance Team Lead is responsible for overseeing the maintenance operations of all Toters Fresh warehouses , ensuring they remain safe, functional, and operationally ready. The role manages preventive and corrective maintenance activities and supervises the maintenance team and external service providers.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure timely response to and full responsiveness for all maintenance tickets, ensuring smooth Fresh operations and maximizing client satisfaction.
- Lead day to day preventive and corrective maintenance programs across all Fresh Warehouses.
- Supervise Maintenance Coordinators, Handymen, technicians, and external contractors.
- Ensure timely resolution of warehouse-related issues and breakdowns.
- Coordinate maintenance activities for electrical, HVAC, plumbing, civil, mechanical, and other facility systems.
- Establish maintenance schedules and ensure preventive maintenance plan is completed on time.
- Conduct regular warehouse inspections and identify potential maintenance requirements.
- Manage external maintenance contractors and service providers.
- Ensure maintenance works meet quality, safety, and compliance requirements.
- Track maintenance costs, recurring issues, and warehouse performance.
- Identify opportunities to reduce maintenance costs and improve warehouse reliability.
- Support warehouse upgrades, renovations, and improvement projects when required.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment, warranties, and service contracts.
- Ensure warehouse are maintained in a condition that supports uninterrupted warehouse operations.
- Develop and implement a continuous process improvement plan to continuously enhance the quality and efficiency of the maintenance team’s services.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Electro-Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Experience in Facility Management, Building Maintenance, or Maintenance Operations.
- Experience managing maintenance teams and external contractors.
- Strong knowledge of building systems, MEP, HVAC, electrical, and general maintenance.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good organizational and team management capabilities.
- Experience in retail, commercial, warehousing, or multi-site environmentsis preferred.
