Senior Solutions Architect - AI

Your opportunity:

This role focuses on designing enterprise and IT solutions architecture with a core emphasis on AI-driven capabilities at TPG Telecom. The Senior Solutions Architect - AI will design IT solutions that leverage AI in an efficient, cost-effective, secure and ethical manner. The role will ensure all AI solutions align with organisational objectives, regulatory compliance, target architecture, and security standards.

The Senior Solutions Architect - AI will:

• Work as part of the architecture community and align with business stakeholders to understand the requirements, design the solutions, obtain the required approvals, and assist the delivery teams in successful initiative completion.
• Develop solutions that leverage the appropriate form of AI, e.g., Agentic AI, to deliver business value across domains including Network & Operations, Customer Service, Cyber Security, and more.
• Embed AI security design patterns, threat modelling, and responsible AI practices into solutions to strengthen cyber defence at scale.
• Optimise the AI solutions for cost effectiveness and minimal operations overhead.

You'll make impact by:

• Contribute to the design and implementation of solutions within projects, ensuring alignment with TPG’s architecture principles and technology roadmap.
• Leverage AI development frameworks and hyper scaler platforms such as AWS to deliver cloud-native AI architectures, applying best practices for secure, scalable, and cost-efficient deployment.
• Ensure seamless and secure integration of AI capabilities into enterprise systems using modern cloud services, patterns, and automation.
• Conduct solution assessments through Architecture Review Boards (ARB) to maintain compliance with technology standards and policies.
• Partner with Business Units to create solution roadmaps that deliver enterprise value and customer outcomes.
• Ensure AI solutions adhere to TPG's security and privacy policies, regulatory frameworks, and ethical AI guidelines.
• Incorporate AI-specific security controls and mitigate emerging cyber threats.

What you’ll bring:

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture, with at least one year specialising in AI solution design within large-scale enterprise or telecommunications environments.
• Familiarity with common AI architectures including advanced RAG and Agentic AI.
• AI Agent development frameworks e.g., LangChain and LangGraph, common vector and graph databases, common AI protocols e.g., MCP and A2A, and AI observability.
• In-depth understanding of common AI Security Controls including OWASP TOP 10 for LLMs.
• Hands-on experience in AI observability, including monitoring model performance, drift detection, fairness metrics, and explainability in production environments.
• Strong technical background in integrating AI and machine learning solutions on hyper scaler platforms, e.g., AWS, leveraging cloud-native services and distributed architectures.
• Experience embedding AI components into enterprise platforms through APIs, event-driven patterns, and microservices.

Ideally, you will also have:

• AI Security frameworks such as MITRE ATLAS or NIST RISK Mitigation Framework is highly regarded.
