TrackMan is a Danish technology company founded in 2003 and based near Copenhagen. Its radar systems measure ball and club movement in golf, baseball and other sports. The technology is used by professional tours, broadcasters and training facilities worldwide.

Are you looking for a role where you can combine theoretical computer vision, hardware integration, and robust software development?

Trackman is looking for a Computer Vision Engineer to join our Golf Launch Monitor R&D team. You will join the team in building high-precision tracking systems engineered to perform reliably in challenging environments and satisfy the highest requirements of elite athletes.

Whether you are a recent graduate or have a couple of years of experience in electrical engineering, computer science, embedded/mechatronics, or related fields, this is an opportunity to build deep technical expertise while working hands-on with some of the most challenging problems in computer vision and sensor technology.

Since 2003, Trackman has been on the forefront of sports tracking technology, combining high-speed cameras, radar, and applied physics. Our products are used daily by professional athletes, coaches, club fitters, and broadcasters worldwide. Staying at the forefront requires more than developing new technology. It means continuously improving, testing, and hardening existing systems, so they work flawlessly every single day in real-world conditions.

The Role

As a Computer Vision Engineer, you will work across the development lifecycle: running feasibility studies on new optical sensors, helping design real-time tracking pipelines, and taking pride in diagnosing, maintaining, and improving products across demanding deployment environment.

We are looking for motivated engineers who pair a strong theoretical academic foundation with the practical instinct to roll up their sleeves, diagnose tricky integration bottlenecks, and build technology that works.

You will join the Golf Launch Monitors R&D team, a highly skilled, multidisciplinary group of specialists working across computer vision, radar signal processing, mathematical modeling, and software engineering. We are committed to excellence and operate with a first-principles mindset, constantly pushing physical and computational boundaries to ensure our tracking accuracy remains the global benchmark.

Key Responsibilities

  • Sensor & Hardware Integration: Evaluate next-generation camera sensors, optical setups, and custom illumination; diagnose hardware/software interface edge cases (e.g., latency, frame drops, synchronization).

  • Algorithm & Pipeline Design: Develop, tune, and profile real-time 2D/3D vision tracking and calibration algorithms capable of handling all kinds of challenging cases.

  • Production Engineering & Maintenance: Write clean, testable C++ and Python code. Maintain, refactor, and harden existing production codebases to ensure long-term stability and high uptime.

  • Field-Data Validation: Analyze real-world datasets collected across challenging environments to identify vulnerabilities, eliminate subtle tracking bugs, and continuously raise tracking accuracy.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with hardware, firmware, and QA teams to translate ambiguous physical challenges into reliable, deployable software solutions.

Requirements

Who You Are:

  • You are a recent MSc/PhD graduate or early-career engineer with approximately 0-3 years of experience in Computer Science, Robotics, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Applied Mathematics, Physics, or related field.

  • You have gained hands-on experience with computer vision, sensors, image processing,

  • You have a strong interest in - areas such as camera sensors, calibration, 3D geometry, feature tracking, or image-processing pipelines.

  • You have gainedexperience in software engineering through professional research, or substantial university projects.

  • You have strong academic or practical skills in C++ and/or Python and care about writing efficient, structured, and maintainable code.

  • You enjoy solving complex technical problems, digging into code and data, and investigating issues until you understand their root cause.

  • You are curious, highly motivated, organized, and comfortable taking ownership in a collaborative and informal engineering environment.

Bonus Points For:

Experience or interest in any of the following is an advantage:

  • High-speed or global-shutter imaging

  • Embedded Linux or RTOS

  • Camera-radar sensor fusion

  • CUDA, SIMD, TensorRT, or similar acceleration technologies

  • Sports technology, biomechanics, or golf tracking

The Office

We are located at DTU Science Park in Hørsholm. We take great pride in the state-of-art building we have designed! The office features bright meeting rooms, coffee areas to catch up with colleagues, a large testing arena with simulators available for employees and a fitness center, everything surrounded by a beautiful forest and respecting the environment.
