About the role
A Senior Software Engineer as part of a start-up, you will own large chunks of the problems you solve. You can be specialised in a certain layer of the stack, but you are expected to have familiarity with different technologies and programming languages from the database to the browser and everything in between (see below). You will understand the problem you are solving for the customer and proactively contribute with more than just code.
What you'll do
Data ingestion and transformation, database optimisations, API design, and web browsing will be some of the fundamentals in your day to day.
Heavily based on AI and LLMs, you will be designing and implementing LLM flows beyond prompt engineering.
You will work with your product and engineering colleagues as well as with customer success to prioritise and solve new features and customer requests.
Interact with all stakeholders, Trebellar colleagues and customers.
You'll will learn the domain of corporate real estate (you don't need to come from this background)
What we're looking for
We seek versatile candidates with expertise in web, databases and LLMs, able to contribute across the stack.
10+ years experience building web applications.
2+ years experience building LLM based applications
You must be able to understand and analyse complex data set, as well as debug complex scenarios.
Familiarity with data ingestion and data processing, ideally both real time, batch and high volume.
You have excellent communication and organization skills. As part of a growing start-up you'll be expected to interact with stakeholders from all departments and diverse backgrounds, technical and corporate real state experts.
You are self driven. Your work will be part of a team, but you are joining a start-up where everybody has a high degree of sufficiency once the main goals are agreed with the team.
Proficiency in typescript and familiarity with the most common javascript/typescript stacks.
Backend/API development skills - A solid foundation and understanding on interacting with backend services.
Good understanding of common systems architecture for data processing.
Familiarity with Cloud/Docker/k8s/... and related DevOps technologies
