Role Overview :
We are seeking a seasoned M365 L3 Engineer to join our Bangalore - based infrastructure team, serving as the technical authority for our enterprise collaboration ecosystem.
In this high - impact role, you will lead the architecture, optimization, and complex troubleshooting of our Microsoft 365 environment, ensuring seamless integration across Exchange, SharePoint, and emerging AI - driven tools like Copilot.
You will collaborate closely with global IT stakeholders, security teams, and business unit leaders to translate complex technical requirements into scalable, secure solutions.
By maintaining the health and performance of our digital workplace, you will directly influence the productivity and security posture of our global workforce, ensuring that our collaboration platforms remain resilient, compliant, and ahead of the curve.
Key Responsibilities :
- Architect and maintain complex M365 environments, ensuring high availability and performance for global users through proactive monitoring and L3 - level incident resolution.
- Automate repetitive administrative and deployment tasks using advanced PowerShell scripting and Graph API integrations to drive operational efficiency across the enterprise.
- Design and enforce robust DLP and governance policies to protect sensitive corporate data, ensuring full compliance with internal security standards and regulatory requirements.
- Lead the integration and lifecycle management of third - party collaboration tools such as Slack and TeamConnect, ensuring interoperability with the core Microsoft stack.
- Drive the adoption and technical implementation of Microsoft Copilot, configuring security boundaries and data access controls to enable AI - powered productivity safely.
- Manage complex migrations and hybrid environment configurations involving on - premises Exchange and SharePoint servers to ensure a seamless transition to cloud - native workflows.
- Mentor junior engineers and provide technical guidance during critical outages, adhering to ITIL best practices to ensure structured incident and change management.
Required Skillset:
- Demonstrated expertise in managing large - scale M365 environments, with a deep understanding of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and the broader Microsoft 365 security and compliance suite.
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell and Graph API, with a proven ability to script complex automation workflows that reduce manual overhead and human error.
- Strong command of DLP governance and data protection strategies, capable of translating security policies into technical configurations that safeguard enterprise assets.
- Proven experience in managing multi - platform collaboration ecosystems, including the integration of Slack and TeamConnect within a Microsoft - centric infrastructure.
- Exceptional analytical and problem - solving abilities, with a track record of resolving critical L3 - level issues in high - pressure, fast - paced enterprise environments.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non - technical leadership and cross - functional teams.
- A solid understanding of ITIL frameworks, ensuring that all technical changes and service requests are handled with precision, documentation, and operational rigor.
- Ability to thrive in a hybrid work environment in Bangalore, demonstrating self - motivation and the capacity to collaborate effectively with distributed global teams.
- Candidates should possess 8 - 15 years of relevant experience in enterprise - level infrastructure engineering and M365 administration.
