Treasury Analyst

Position Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Treasury Analyst to support the Group's treasury operations. The role offers exposure to foreign exchange risk management, cash and liquidity management, treasury operations, and financial risk analysis. The successful candidate will assist in executing treasury transactions, maintaining treasury controls, and supporting the development of the Group's hedging strategies.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute approved Spot, Forward, and Option transactions in accordance with the Group's treasury mandates, delegated authority, and approval framework.
• Monitor and maintain records of derivative transactions, including trade execution, contract settlements, and treasury exposures.
• Develop, maintain, and enhance treasury monitoring templates to support reporting, risk management, and operational efficiency.
• Prepare and execute fund transfers while supporting the Group's daily cash flow and liquidity management.
• Analyse the Group's foreign exchange exposures and contribute to the conceptualisation and implementation of hedging strategies aligned with the Group's financial objectives and risk appetite.
• Liaise with banking counterparties to obtain market quotations, facilitate treasury transactions, and manage post-trade administration.
• Prepare treasury reports, perform reconciliations, and support process improvement initiatives to strengthen treasury operations and controls.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to support secured lending projects and other ad hoc responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accountancy, Business, Economics, or a related discipline.
• Candidates with 1 to 3 years of relevant experience in treasury, finance, banking, or accounting are welcome to apply.
• Basic understanding of foreign exchange products, treasury operations, or financial markets is an advantage.
• Strong analytical and numerical skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders and banking counterparties.
• Self-motivated, organised, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
