Triple Point is a London-based investment manager spanning private credit, ventures and real asset strategies. It offers venture capital trusts, venture investments in early-stage technology companies, private lending and infrastructure financing, connecting private and institutional capital with businesses across many sectors. The firm was founded in 2004, is headquartered in London, and manages a range of listed and unlisted funds for investors in the United Kingdom.
Backed by Peak Capital

Since 2004, we’ve been bringing investment ideas to life and connecting capital with the right people and opportunities. Today, we manage more than £2.5 billion for a broad range of investors across five key investment strategies: Private Credit, Social Housing, Clean Heat, Energy and Venture. These strategies underpin the innovative range of investments we offer to both private (retail) and institutional clients.

There are 230+ employees at Triple Point, all committed to leaving the world demonstrably better than we found it. That’s why we’re a certified B Corp, signed up to the Principles for Responsible Investment, and were named a Sunday Times 'Best Place to Work  2025 & 2026'.

The Function & Team

The Digital and Technology team's purpose is to provide cutting-edge digital solutions that are safe and reliable whilst improving efficiency and reducing potential risks for everyone at Triple Point.

The Digital Transformation team looks after our core systems, the integration between them, and all aspects of data, from the data warehouse to reporting that provides clear insight into trends. It automates manual business processes, adopts emerging technology such as Gen/Adaptive AI, and uses Microsoft 365 tooling to make TP and our TP'ers more efficient. It also manages our outsourced Salesforce developers and quality assurance specialists to ensure delivery quality and pace.

The Role

As our Salesforce Solution Architect you are a senior member of the in-house Business Systems team and own our customer portals and the end to end journeys that run through them. Your primary remit is to design solutions that let us keep providing outstanding service to investors and IFAs through our digital channels, with streamlined and intuitive UI/UX that meets industry standards. You have ownership of what gets built and how it is delivered, and you set the governance and principles that keep our systems safe and compliant.

You own the target architecture and standards, and you make sure development across our internal team and partners follows our best practices, supported by robust DevOps and QA frameworks. The role blends requirements gathering and refinement, solution design, prototyping, and oversight of build, release and quality.

The Role’s Key Responsibilities

Portal strategy and competitive advantage

  • Research what investors and IFAs value and how competitors serve them, review the feedback we receive, and recommend ways Triple Point can differentiate its digital services.
  • Translate findings into a portal roadmap with clear priorities and measurable outcomes, and own that roadmap.

Solution design & governance

  • Provide solution design and decisioning across our suite of products - shaping and reviewing capabilities and making pragmatic day-to-day design decisions that align with our target architecture.
  • Uphold data protection, security and regulatory requirements in what is designed and released - the Salesforce data model, security and sharing, data quality, and GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA obligations.
  • Set and uphold development and delivery standards, champion best practices, and mentor and upskill the in-house team.
  • Provide technical assurance over the delivery partner's build - review deployability, standards adherence, test coverage and quality, and hold delivery to account operationally.

End-to-end customer and colleague journeys

  • Lead the design and continuous improvement of complete journeys across our products, from initial engagement and onboarding, including KYC, through to ongoing servicing.
  • Design the colleague side of every journey too, including the hand-offs between the portals, Client Operations, Client Services, Distribution and other systems, so customers never have to repeat information.
  • Own UI/UX decisions for the portals, and involve investors and IFAs in pilots and feedback.
  • Design self-service capabilities such as product and investment information, documents and progress updates that improve service quality while reducing effort for customers and colleagues.

Release and quality assurance

  • Set the release and quality standards the team is held to, and sign off key journeys before they ship.
  • Assure test coverage and release quality across in-house and partner delivery, working with the Tech Lead who owns the release process day to day.

Testing, reliability and performance

  • Own the end-to-end test strategy for key customer journeys across products, devices, screen sizes and browsers.
  • Monitor availability, response times, accessibility and journey failures, with clear ownership for resolving issues.

Security, privacy and compliance

  • Build security, privacy, GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA requirements into portal design and delivery, including the data model and sharing model, working with Cyber, the DPO and Risk.
  • Lead technical investigations where required.

Prototyping and delivery support

  • Build proofs of concept and prototypes that bring new journeys to life, so investors, IFAs and colleagues can see and react to features before they are built.
  • Support the development team where it counts by guiding approach, challenging design and implementation choices, resolving escalations, and stepping in with hands-on support when delivery needs it.
  • Use AI tooling in day-to-day work and show how it accelerates design and delivery.

Experience

  • Significant experience designing and delivering Salesforce Experience Cloud portals for external users, including authentication, sharing, branding and responsive UI/UX.
  • 8+ years in the Salesforce ecosystem, including at least 3 years in a solution architect role with demonstrable architecture and delivery ownership.
  • A consulting background, or experience within a financial services or wealth management business, is preferred.
  • Solution design across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud with the judgement to make and hold design decisions, out of the box first, within a target architecture.
  • Financial services or regulated-industry experience, ideally with Financial Services Cloud, and a working understanding of investment and lending products such as assets under management, VCTs and ISAs, and of KYC and onboarding journeys.
  • Designing end-to-end customer journeys with business stakeholders, including discovery, journey mapping, pilots and feedback loops with end customers or intermediaries.
  • Translating complex Salesforce concepts into clear, actionable designs for non-technical stakeholders and developers.
  • Strong Salesforce data modelling and security and sharing design, with GDPR / UK GDPR and FCA obligations built into what is designed.
  • Integration design across REST, platform events and middleware, and data flow ownership between Salesforce and other systems.
  • Defining test strategy for customer-facing journeys, including cross-device and cross-browser coverage, accessibility and performance monitoring.
  • Setting design and development standards, leading design and code reviews, and holding a delivery partner to quality outcomes.
  • Hands-on fluency in flows, Experience Cloud builder, and custom development to prototype journeys, review others' work credibly and challenge an approach.
  • Practical use of AI tooling in design and delivery work.
  • Experience assuring or governing third-party or partner delivery.
  • Representing the Salesforce platform confidently in leadership and governance forums.

Essential Qualifications & Desirable Experience

Essential qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related technical discipline.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator, Platform Developer I and Platform App Builder.
  • Salesforce Experience Cloud Consultant.
  • Application Architect and/or System Architect (preferably both).

Desirable experience

  • Experience rolling out Financial Services Cloud and/or Financial Services Cloud Accredited Professional certification.
  • Salesforce OmniStudio experience.
  • Salesforce Certified Sales Cloud Consultant.
  • Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant.
  • A DevOps tooling accreditation (e.g. Gearset or Copado).
  • Integration experience with a middleware (e.g. MuleSoft).
  • Data warehouse experience (e.g. Snowflake).
  • A recognised data-protection / privacy qualification (e.g. BCS Foundation Certificate in Data Protection, or IAPP CIPP/E).
  • Salesforce experience across Sales, Service and Experience Cloud in a regulated financial-services setting.

What Success Looks Like

Within the first year the focus is on delivering significant improvements to our existing portals and on designing and supporting the journeys for our new products. Alongside that, you will have helped untangle data challenges across the platform, with a clearer data model and better data quality, and supported the wider business initiatives delivered by our partners so they land within our architecture and standards. The portal roadmap will have been researched and prioritised and will be in delivery against measurable outcomes, and design, development and quality standards will be applied consistently by the in-house team and our delivery partner.
