QC Supervisor – Gearbox Manufacturing

We are looking for an experienced and hands-on Quality Control Supervisor to join our team in Thailand. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the quality assurance processes in the manufacturing of industrial gearboxes. This role ensures that products meet internal quality standards, international specifications, and customer requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily quality control activities for gearbox production.

• Conduct in-process and final inspections of machined parts, components, and assemblies.

• Establish and enforce quality standards and procedures in accordance with ISO guidelines.

• Train and guide QC inspectors to ensure consistent quality practices across shifts.

• Investigate and resolve quality issues or non-conformances in collaboration with production teams.

• Maintain accurate quality records, inspection reports, and documentation for audits.

• Ensure calibration of measuring instruments and tools is up to date.

• Communicate quality findings and improvements to management and relevant departments.

• Liaise with suppliers and customers on quality-related matters where required.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related field.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in quality control, preferably in gearbox or mechanical component manufacturing.

• Good understanding of gear design, tolerances, surface finishes, and mechanical fit.

• Proficient in using precision measurement tools (micrometers, calipers, CMMs, etc.).

• Familiar with international standards such as ISO 9001, API, or similar.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and manufacturing documents.

• Strong leadership and team coordination skills.

• Able to work under pressure and meet production timelines.

Preferred Attributes:

• Previous experience supervising a QC team in a mechanical production environment.

• Experience with root cause analysis, CAPA, and continuous improvement processes.

• Familiarity with ERP or quality management systems (QMS).

• Thai national or fluent in Thai and English (both written and verbal).
