Introduction
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Chemical Engineer to support industrial operations through process optimisation, operational excellence, and continuous improvement initiatives. The successful candidate will play a key role in improving plant efficiency, ensuring compliance with health, safety and environmental standards, and supporting operational and project-related activities
Duties & ResponsibilitiesKey Responsibilities
- Monitor, analyse, and optimise production and processing operations.
- Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost performance.
- Investigate operational issues and implement corrective actions through root cause analysis.
- Ensure compliance with quality, environmental, health, and safety standards.
- Support process improvement, commissioning, and operational projects.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, reports, and procedures.
- Provide technical support and guidance to operations and maintenance teams.
- Assist with plant performance monitoring and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders to achieve operational objectives.
Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering or a related discipline.
- Minimum of 5 years' relevant experience within manufacturing, chemical processing, industrial operations, recycling, or related industries.
- Experience in process optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong understanding of health, safety, environmental, and quality management systems.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and technical reporting abilities.
