About the Role
Join a small product team at a cloud infrastructure software company, helping make complex developer tools clear, polished, and enjoyable to use. This hands-on role combines product design and frontend engineering, with room to take on broader ownership of the design function over time.
What You'll Do
Refine information architecture and core user flows across a SaaS platform for deploying and managing applications.
Build polished, production-ready interfaces using React and TypeScript, with close attention to visual details and interaction quality.
Design and implement micro-interactions, including icon animations, loading states, and other interface feedback.
Collaborate with product and frontend engineering teammates to review designs and ship improvements.
Help develop reusable components and consistent patterns across product interfaces.
What We're Looking For
Two to five years of experience as a frontend engineer or design engineer working on SaaS product interfaces.
Strong production experience with React and TypeScript, with most of your work focused on building and shipping frontend code.
Experience designing for dense SaaS or developer tools, including complex dashboards, tables, or forms.
A portfolio or work samples that demonstrate strong craft, interface polish, and attention to micro-interactions.
Experience with Figma, product design, and collaborating closely with engineers.
A systems mindset and interest in building reusable components and patterns.
Compensation & Benefits
Base salary is $220,000 to $280,000 annually. Visa sponsorship is available.
Location
This is an on-site role in New York, New York, with work in person five days per week.
