partnerships

turbopuffer is looking for someone to build our partner program from scratch - the strategy, the integrations, and the first real revenue through it.

what you'll do:

• decide which partnerships are worth it - which CSPs, peers, SIs, and labs to pursue, and which to ignore

• own the relationship with cloud providers (GCP, AWS, Azure) and drive our marketplace listings from setup to real pipeline

• turn partnerships into a repeatable sales motion: co-selling, marketplace transactions, joint accounts

• get turbopuffer into the implementations that systems integrators are already running

• structure the deals and co-sell motions, and negotiate them with partner alliance teams

• work closely with engineering to fold partner needs back into the product

must have:

• technical - you're comfortable discussing APIs and cloud infra

• outcome-driven - you know a partnership only matters if it drives revenue, and you build toward that from day one

• owner - you can set partner strategy and structure deals, not just execute someone else's plan

• marketplace-minded - you understand CSP marketplaces as a sales channel, not just a listing

• independent - meetings aren't the goal. you navigate a large partner org, find the right people, and drive things to signed integrations and real revenue - no spec, no warm intro required

• typist - you can write well and explain complex ideas simply

• human - you build trust across companies and know when you're in over your head

nice to have:

• experience standing up technical partnerships, cloud alliances, or marketplace GTM at an infrastructure or developer-tool company

• hands-on experience with GCP, AWS, or Azure marketplaces (private offers, metering, co-sell programs)

• vector search, full-text search, or data infrastructure background

• comfort building demos, integrations, or lightweight tooling yourself

• you've closed co-sell deals without becoming the person who blames the partner when they slip
