  • Establish project baselines and monitor progress against approved schedules.
  • Analyse critical path activities, float consumption, schedule performance and project constraints.
  • Conduct schedule risk assessments and identify potential impacts to project delivery.
  • Monitor contractor schedules and integrate them into the overall Integrated Master Schedule (IMS).
  • Evaluate project progress and identify schedule variances, delays and recovery opportunities.
  • Support project teams in developing mitigation and recovery plans where required.

Cost Management & Forecasting

  • Prepare, develop and maintain project budgets, cost plans and forecasts.
  • Monitor and control project commitments, accruals, expenditure and approved changes.
  • Support monthly cost reporting, forecasting and budget reconciliation activities.
  • Analyse cost performance and identify variances against approved budgets and forecasts.
  • Ensure robust cost management processes are implemented and maintained throughout project delivery.
  • Support financial planning and provide accurate cost data to enable effective management decision-making.

Integrated Project Controls

  • Support the integration of schedule, cost, risk and change information to provide a comprehensive view of project performance.
  • Establish and maintain Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and associated coding systems.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly project controls dashboards and performance reports.
  • Support the implementation and continuous improvement of project controls standards, systems and procedures.
  • Maintain project risk registers and support risk identification, assessment and mitigation activities.
  • Support project change management processes, ensuring all approved changes are accurately reflected in schedules, costs and reporting.
  • Conduct project performance reviews and provide recommendations to improve delivery outcomes.

Stakeholder Management

  • Work collaboratively with project managers, engineering teams, contractors and client stakeholders.
  • Present planning and cost performance information to project leadership teams.
  • Provide project controls expertise and guidance to support effective project execution.
  • Build strong relationships across multidisciplinary teams to ensure alignment and consistency of project controls information.
  • Significant Project Controls experience with a strong focus on both Planning & Scheduling and Cost Management.
  • Proven experience supporting major capital projects within Energy, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure, Utilities, Nuclear or similar industries.
  • Advanced proficiency in Primavera P6 and/or Microsoft Project.
  • Experience developing and maintaining integrated project schedules and cost reports.
  • Strong understanding of project controls principles, including planning, cost control, forecasting, risk management and change control.
  • Experience preparing project budgets, cost forecasts, performance reporting and variance analysis.
  • Knowledge of Work Breakdown Structures (WBS), Cost Breakdown Structures (CBS) and project control methodologies.
  • Experience integrating contractor schedules into master project plans.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex project data.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
