The Scaler Labor team member is responsible for accurately weighing poultry products, printing and applying product labels, recording weights, and ensuring product meets Tyson quality and food safety standards. Essential Functions

• Weigh boxes or containers of poultry products using approved scale equipment.
• Accurately record product weights and production information on required documentation and manifests.
• Print and apply labels to product containers according to customer and company specifications.
• Verify product counts, weights, and labeling accuracy.
• Monitor scale operation and report any equipment issues to supervision.
• Maintain production flow by ensuring products are weighed and documented in a timely manner.
• Follow all Tyson Food Safety, Quality Assurance, Animal Welfare, and Workplace Safety policies.
• Keep work areas clean and sanitary following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
• Assist with product handling, packaging, and other production duties as assigned.
• Perform job rotation and cross-training assignments as needed to support operations.
• Work in a team environment to meet production goals and customer requirements.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the shift.
• Frequent use of hands and arms for handling products and operating equipment.
• Ability to lift, push, pull, and carry products or materials up to 40 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced production environment.
• Ability to bend, stoop, reach, twist, and climb as needed.
• Ability to work in wet, humid, cold, and refrigerated environments.

Work Environment

• Poultry processing environment with exposure to cold temperatures, moisture, noise, and food production equipment.
• Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Must follow all sanitation, food safety, and biosecurity requirements.
