Uber is an American mobility and delivery company founded in San Francisco in 2009 that connects independent drivers and couriers with riders and customers through its apps. It operates ride hailing in thousands of cities, a food and grocery delivery business built on the same courier network, a freight brokerage matching shippers with carriers, and an advertising business that sells placement inside those apps. Listed on the New York Stock Exchange since 2019, the company reached sustained profitability in the mid 2020s and now partners with autonomous vehicle developers rather than building self-driving technology itself.

About the role and team

Uber’s Global Delivery Partnerships (GDP) team manages relationships with major global brands, connecting global account strategy with execution across markets. These partnerships require close coordination across commercial teams, Operations, Product, Marketing, Finance, Ads, and Direct to deliver merchant outcomes and sustainable growth.

As the Manager, Global Delivery Partner Enablement Lead, you will own the enablement strategy and roadmap for GDP, building the processes, tools, and capabilities that help senior sellers and account managers lead complex partnerships effectively. As the central enablement partner to the global GDP organization, you will translate commercial priorities into consistent, practical ways of working that strengthen account strategy, improve execution, and support growth across brands and markets.

You will partner with GDP leadership to identify where enablement can have the greatest impact, establish priorities, and drive adoption of shared commercial practices. Your portfolio will include joint business planning, executive business reviews, account governance, negotiation preparation, and cross-functional coordination.

This role requires someone who combines strategic judgment with hands-on execution, earns credibility with experienced commercial leaders, and turns ambiguous challenges into scalable solutions. The emphasis is on embedding enablement into daily work through better processes, tools, and targeted capability development.

What you’ll do

  • Own the GDP enablement strategy and roadmap: Translate business priorities, performance insights, and account team needs into a focused portfolio of initiatives. Align GDP leadership on expected outcomes, sequencing, investment, and trade-offs.
  • Establish effective commercial practices: Develop and embed frameworks for strategic account planning, joint business planning, stakeholder management, opportunity development, and execution tracking. Balance shared standards with flexibility for different brands, partnership structures, and market needs.
  • Elevate business reviews and executive engagement: Build frameworks that help teams connect performance insights, merchant priorities, and growth opportunities into clear recommendations and decisions. Partner with Finance, analytics, and commercial leaders to establish consistent measures and compelling client narratives.
  • Strengthen global-to-local account governance: Partner with GDP leaders and cross-functional teams to clarify responsibilities, decision rights, handoffs, and escalation paths. Improve how global account strategies translate into regional and market-level commitments and execution.
  • Build tools that improve commercial effectiveness: Lead the development of reusable proposal structures, negotiation preparation guides, opportunity assessments, account briefs, and other resources that improve the quality and efficiency of commercial work.
  • Drive commercial rigor and visibility: Partner with Sales Operations and GDP leadership to establish useful expectations for account documentation, opportunity management, Salesforce hygiene, and follow-through. Ensure these practices support decision-making, cross-market coordination, and reliable reporting.
  • Enable complex partnership growth: Equip teams to navigate global and local stakeholders, franchise relationships, cross-market negotiations, and opportunities spanning Delivery, Ads, and Direct. Build practical approaches that help teams connect Uber’s capabilities to partner objectives.
  • Lead adoption and continuous improvement: Pilot new approaches with account teams, secure leadership sponsorship, and embed successful practices into existing operating rhythms. Use working sessions, targeted coaching, and peer learning to support application in live account situations.
  • Connect business changes to account execution: Partner with Product, Operations, Policy, and other subject matter experts to translate relevant launches and changes into account planning guidance, client discussion resources, and coordinated execution plans.
  • Advance commercial productivity through technology: Improve access to resources, insights, and expertise through approved platforms. Identify opportunities to use AI and automation to simplify account research, preparation, documentation, and knowledge discovery.
  • Scale effective practices across GDP: Capture successful approaches from brand and regional teams, establish clear ownership for shared resources, and coordinate with global and regional Enablement partners to avoid duplication.
  • Measure impact and guide priorities: Define success measures spanning adoption, execution quality, productivity, and relevant commercial outcomes. Communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to GDP leadership, and refine the roadmap based on evidence.

Basic qualifications
