Your mission

As our Growth & Performance Marketer, you play a key role in building a lasting connection between UJAM and our global community of creators. You turn deep customer understanding and data-driven insights into scalable growth levers. Combining analytical clarity with strategic execution, you ensure that every campaign drives both measurable business results and genuine brand enthusiasm.

• Data-Driven Marketing & Strategy:Take responsibility for marketing performance data, structure optimization potentials, and continuously bring fresh impulses to the team to guide campaigns toward measurable results and scaled conversions.

• Analytics & Funnel Optimization: Utilize analytics tools like GA4 or Mixpanel to build transparent dashboards, critically monitor key metrics and provide data-driven insights as a basis for decision-making. Analyze and optimize user funnels to drive growth.

• Performance Marketing:Direct and challenge our external marketing agency, driving paid acquisition campaigns across digital channels to maximize performance.

• SEO & AEO/GEO (LLM Visibility):Lead discoverability across traditional search engines (SEO) and proactively optimize brand and product presence for AI search models and LLMs (Generative Engine Optimization / Answer Engine Optimization).

• Email Marketing:Develop strategies for email marketing, build automated journeys (e.g. onboarding, trial conversions, retention), and manage regular campaigns.

Your profile

Your Competencies

• Experience:Several years of solid experience in data-driven online marketing, growth hacking, or performance marketing (ideally within a B2C SaaS, e-commerce, or software environment).

• Data & Analytics:Deep understanding of analytics tools (e.g. GA4, Mixpanel), funnel analyses, and conversion rate optimization.

• A/B Testing & Experimentation:Hands-on experience with A/B testing, formulating structured hypotheses, and executing conversion experiments.

• Search & Generative AI:Solid knowledge of SEO, as well as an understanding of how LLMs and AI search engines discover and recommend brands and products.

• Performance & Partner Management:Proven track record in managing ad campaigns and monitoring performance metrics.

• Email Operations & Marketing Copy:Demonstrated experience in operational email marketing (setup, segmentation, scheduling, automation) along with a strong eye for effective marketing copy that drives clicks and conversions.

• Languages:Fluent English is strictly required; good German skills are a plus.

• Location:Based in and working from Europe (ideally in Germany, preferably in the greater Bremen area for regular hybrid office work, though remote from Europe is also possible).

Nice to Have

• Domain Expertise (Audio & Music): Solid experience in the music industry, ideally with an existing network in the audio/music-tech sector.

• Passionate about making music yourself (e.g., in a DAW), understanding the target audience of music creators through your own practice.

• Experience with Holacracy or similar modern organizational frameworks.

• Knowledge of standard e-commerce and webshop structures.
