  • Support certification and evaluation activities related to battery systems, energy storage technologies, and emerging energy applications.
  • Coordinate laboratory activities, project priorities, and resource planning to ensure successful project execution.
  • Contribute to the development of test methods, technical interpretations, laboratory capabilities, and engineering best practices.
  • Represent UL Solutions at customer meetings, industry events, technical seminars, and conferences.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives while maintaining compliance with quality, safety, and security requirements.
  • Uphold UL’s Code of Conduct and ensure compliance with physical and digital security protocols
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Power Electronics, Energy Systems, or a related discipline.
  • 7-10+ years of experience in Power Electronics, Product Safety, Testing, Certification, Compliance Engineering, or related technical fields.
  • Strong understanding of power electronic products such as UPS, PCS, EV Chargers, Inverters, Converters, or Energy Storage Systems.
  • Experience in product testing, certification, conformity assessment, or compliance engineering activities.
  • Working knowledge of international product safety standards and regulatory frameworks such as UL, IEC, BIS, or equivalent standards.
  • Strong analytical, technical problem-solving, and project management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Experience working with testing laboratories, certification organizations, manufacturers, or engineering service providers is preferred.
  • Familiarity with Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), Lithium-ion battery technologies, or battery safety standards is desirable.
