Internship Physics

1. Assist engineers in conducting technical studies and evaluations related to semiconductor manufacturing processes and technologies.
2. Support engineering activities involving applied physics, material properties and semiconductor device performance.
3. Assist in conducting experiments, measurements and testing to evaluate process and product performance.
4. Support data collection, analysis and interpretation for engineering investigations and process improvement projects.
5. Assist in investigating technical issues related to product performance, process variation and material characteristics.
6. Participate in process characterization, validation and qualification activities.
7. Assist in evaluating new technologies, materials and engineering solutions for potential implementation.
8. Support troubleshooting and root cause investigation of technical and process-related issues.
9. Assist in monitoring process parameters and identifying opportunities for process optimization.
10. Prepare technical reports, experimental records, presentations and engineering documentation.
11. Collaborate with Engineering, Production, Quality and other relevant departments on technical projects.
12. Perform other engineering-related duties and assignments as assigned by the supervisor.

Requirements

1. Currently pursuing a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Physics, Applied Physics, Engineering Physics, Semiconductor Physics or any other related discipline.
2. Able to undergo an internship for a minimum period of 3–6 months.
3. Basic understanding of physics principles, particularly electricity, electronics, materials science and semiconductor fundamentals.
4. Knowledge of semiconductor devices, solid-state physics, material characterization or experimental techniques will be an added advantage.
5. Familiarity with laboratory equipment, measurement techniques and technical data analysis is preferred.
6. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
7. Strong analytical, numerical and problem-solving skills.
8. Good communication and interpersonal skills.
9. Responsible, proactive, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
10. Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
11. Able to adapt to a fast-paced semiconductor manufacturing environment.
