Claude Platform AI Security Architect

What success looks like in this role:

The AI Security Architect owns governance, security, and compliance oversight for the Anthropic Claude Platform Managed Services engagement, corresponding to the “Security Architect” role in the SoW. The role administers guardrail and policy controls in line with Customer-defined security, data-residency, and compliance requirements, and represents Provider in security and governance forums.

Key Responsibilities

• Own governance, security, and compliance oversight for the Anthropic Claude platform Managed Services engagement.
• Implement and administer guardrail and policy controls (usage controls, financial guardrails) in line with security policies, data-residency requirements, and compliance standards communicated by Customer.
• Support the biweekly AI Review Board and the monthly AI Security governance forum, representing Provider's security posture and guardrail compliance evidence.
• Provide L1.5 security-trained support for Incidents and Service Requests with security or compliance implications, alongside Claude-certified associates and the AI Architect.
• Process guardrail exceptions and policy change requests, helping ensure the Guardrail & Policy Change Implementation Service Level (SL-8) target is met.
• Maintain supporting control evidence for security and compliance governance forums and audits.
• Partner with the AI Architect(s) on secure onboarding of tenant, API gateway, SSO, and SOC/SIEM integrations.
• Support Consulting-track security/governance advisory requests, including roadmap and governance advisory under Large consulting engagements.
• Escalate security-related L3 matters to Anthropic and/or Customer's CISO / Security & Compliance team as required.
• Liaise with Customer's CISO / Security & Compliance Team to confirm and operationalize applicable security, data-residency, and compliance standards.

Required Qualifications

• 8-12 years of experience in security/compliance architecture, including AI/data governance
• Claude Certified Architect - Foundations (CCA-F) - Anthropic's official proctored certification for designing and shipping enterprise-grade Claude applications (or committed to obtaining it within an agreed timeframe of joining).
• Proven experience in security or compliance architecture roles, ideally covering AI/GenAI platforms or enterprise SaaS.
• Working knowledge of data-residency, privacy, and compliance frameworks relevant to enterprise AI deployments.
• Experience implementing and governing usage guardrails, policy controls, and financial/usage controls for a managed platform.
• Ability to represent a service provider in formal security governance forums and produce audit-ready control evidence.
• Experience providing security-trained tier-1.5 support for incidents with security or compliance impact.

Preferred Qualifications

• Security certification such as CISSP, CCSP, or equivalent.
• Experience with the Anthropic Claude platform or comparable enterprise LLM/GenAI platforms.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow/ITSM-based guardrail and policy change workflows.
• Experience in regulated or data-sensitive industries (e.g., real estate services, financial services).

BA/BS degree and 8-12 years’ relevant experience OR equivalent combination of education and experience
