Production Operative - (Heat Seal Application & Garment Packing)
Location: Buckingham
Salary- £30,420, increasing to £31,590 after probation, plus bonus and free lunch
Hours- Monday- Thursday 7.30am-4.30pm and Friday 7.30am- 2pm
About the Role
Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Production Operative to join their busy team. The successful candidate will be responsible for applying heat seal transfers to workwear and clothing, as well as carrying out quality checks, packing finished garments, and preparing orders for dispatch.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has good attention to detail, enjoys working as part of a team, and takes pride in producing high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
- Applying heat seal logos, branding, and transfers to garments using heat press equipment.
- Conducting quality inspections to ensure garments meet company standards.
- Checking garments for correct sizes, colours, and branding.
- Folding, packing, and labelling clothing ready for shipment.
- Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
- Following health and safety procedures at all times.
- Assisting with other warehouse and production tasks as required.
- Working efficiently to meet daily production targets.
Requirements
Essential:
- Good attention to detail.
- Ability to work accurately and consistently.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable, punctual, and hardworking attitude.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and carry out manual handling tasks.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in garment decoration, heat seal application, printing, embroidery, or production work.
- Experience in a warehouse, manufacturing, or fulfilment environment.
