Profile match
URBN is the Philadelphia-based parent of a portfolio of consumer lifestyle brands, operating Urban Outfitters, Anthropologie, Free People, FP Movement, Terrain, Anthropologie Weddings, Menus & Venues and the Nuuly clothing rental service. The company traces its roots to a single Urban Outfitters store opened near the University of Pennsylvania in 1970, is listed on Nasdaq and sells through stores, websites and wholesale channels in North America and Europe. Hiring spans store sales associates and team leaders, visual merchandising, buying and merchandise planning, design, marketing analytics, distribution center supervisors and technology roles such as iOS engineers and business analysts.

Role Summary

Nuuly is looking for a Creative Operations Manager to lead project management for our always-on and seasonal marketing and merchandising work. You will keep a high volume of cross-functional projects moving from brief to launch, including web/app updates, CRM communications and touchpoints, paid social, and product-exclusive collaborations. You will also partner directly with the Associate Director of Creative Operations to plan and run brand awareness campaigns. This is a role for someone who loves keeping complex work organized, builds trust with creative and business partners, and improves how teams work together.

Role Responsibilities

  • Own end-to-end project management for seasonal and always-on initiatives across web/app, CRM, paid social, and product-exclusive collaborations, from brief intake through launch.
  • Intake and clarify briefs from marketing and merchandising partners, making sure scope, deliverables, owners, and deadlines are clearly defined.
  • Build and maintain workback schedules and calendars, and keep multiple projects with competing timelines on track.
  • Track and prioritize requests, balancing team capacity and resourcing across creative, marketing, merchandising, and studio partners.
  • Partner with the Associate Director to plan and execute brand awareness campaigns, including timelines, cross-team alignment, and launch readiness.
  • Communicate status, risks, and changes clearly and proactively to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Manage tasks and projects in Asana, keeping them accurate, current, and easy for partners to follow.
  • Use Figma to review work in progress, understand design handoffs, and keep assets and feedback organized.
  • Identify and implement improvements to briefing, intake, and workflow processes that increase efficiency and quality.
  • Foster a respectful, collaborative culture across Creative Operations and partner teams.

Role Qualifications

  • 4+ years of experience in project management, creative operations, or marketing operations, ideally in retail, e-commerce, or a subscription/consumer brand.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects and competing deadlines while staying organized and detail-oriented.
  • Proficiency in Asana or a similar project management tool (such as Monday.com, Workfront, Smartsheet, or Jira).
  • Working knowledge of Figma, including navigating files, reading comments, and following design handoffs. Design skills are not required.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing channels such as email/CRM, paid social, and web/app merchandising.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels.
  • A process-oriented mindset and a track record of improving workflows.
  • Proficiency in Google Workspace.

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting brand or awareness campaigns.
  • Experience with product collaborations or exclusive partnerships.
  • Understanding of consumer behavior and retail industry trends.
