The Opportunity

The Leadership Development Delivery Lead, builds leadership capability, strengthens business outcomes, and deepens connection to USAA's mission and the military community we serve by driving excellence across leadership development delivery. Serves as the senior leadership development practitioner supporting the Director of Leadership Development Delivery and helping translate strategy into consistent, high-quality execution. Facilitates executive and senior leader experiences, coaches and develops facilitators, supports certification and capability-building efforts, and helps ensure consistent delivery standards across the leadership development portfolio. Partners closely with Talent Advisors, business leaders, facilitators, and HR professionals to bring leadership development solutions to life and create meaningful learning experiences that drive leadership effectiveness and behavior change. Demonstrates expertise in facilitation mastery, leadership knowledge, coaching and inquiry, executive presence, learning transfer and behavior change, business acumen, and leaders-as-teachers practices while helping advance leadership capability across the enterprise.

We offer a flexible work environment that requires an individual to be in the office 4 days per week. This position is based in San Antonio, TX. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.

What you'll do:

• Facilitate executive-level, senior leader, and other complex leadership development experiences that require advanced facilitation, coaching, and influence skills.
• Apply advanced facilitation mastery and executive presence to manage sensitive discussions, complex group dynamics, and high-visibility leadership experiences.
• Coach, mentor, and develop facilitators through observations, feedback, certification preparation, and capability-building activities.
• Support the implementation and sustainment of facilitator certification standards, assessment processes, readiness reviews, and development planning.
• Partner with the Director of Leadership Development Delivery to drive delivery excellence, facilitator capability, quality standards, and continuous improvement efforts.
• Partner with Talent Advisors to support the design and execution of custom leadership development experiences, leadership team sessions, strategic working meetings, onboarding experiences, and leadership forums.
• Coach leaders and leaders-as-teachers to enhance learner engagement, leadership credibility, and learning impact.
• Incorporate business strategy, organizational priorities, military acumen, and member-centered perspectives into leadership development experiences to increase relevance and effectiveness.
• Evaluate learner feedback, facilitation observations, and business outcomes to identify opportunities to improve leadership development delivery and learning impact.
• Serve as a role model for facilitation mastery, coaching capability, executive presence, and leadership development excellence.
• Ensures risks associated with business activities are effectively identified, measured, monitored, and controlled in accordance with risk and compliance policies and procedures.

What you have:

• Bachelor's degree in organizational psychology, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Behavioral Science, Human Resources, Organizational Development, Education, Leadership Studies, or a related field; OR 4 years of relevant education and/or experience.
• 8 years experience facilitating leadership development programs, executive development experiences, strategic workshops, or large-scale learning initiatives.
• Experience coaching leaders, facilitators, managers, teams, or executives to improve effectiveness and performance.
• Experience applying behavior change, professional learning, organizational effectiveness, leadership development, or performance consulting principles to drive measurable outcomes.
• Leadership experience through people leadership, military leadership, project leadership, team leadership, or significant enterprise influence responsibilities.
• Demonstrated expertise in facilitation, coaching, learner engagement, and behavior change practices.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complex group dynamics and facilitate high-impact discussions with senior leaders and diverse audiences.
• Demonstrated business acumen and ability to connect leadership development investments to organizational outcomes.
• Ability to build trusted relationships and influence stakeholders across multiple levels of the organization.
• Strong verbal, written, interpersonal, presentation, facilitation, and coaching skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office products, including PowerPoint, Word, and Outlook.
• Proficiency with team collaboration and meeting tools (Slack, Zoom and/or MS

What sets you apart:

• Experience facilitating leadership development within Professional Military Education (PME), military academies, ROTC programs, senior military colleges, or other military-affiliated leadership development environments.

Compensation range: The salary range for this position is: $114,080 - $218,030.

Compensation: USAA has an effective process for assessing market data and establishing ranges to ensure we remain competitive. You are paid within the salary range based on your experience and market data of the position. The actual salary for this role may vary by location.

Employees may be eligible for pay incentives based on overall corporate and individual performance and at the discretion of the USAA Board of Directors.
