You Are:

We are seeking an AI/ML Engineer to design and develop an intelligent chatbot AI Agent that empowers merchants to analyze sales performance and make data-driven decisions.

The solution will leverage LLMs, prompt engineering, and MCP-based tools (including FastMCP) to enable natural language queries, dynamic data retrieval, and actionable insights from sales data.

The opportunity:

• Fine-tune and optimizeLLMs to handle merchant-specific queries with precision and efficiency.

• Design and implement testing strategies for AI Agents and LLM-based workflows, including evaluation of accuracy, reliability, and bias.

• Build APIs and microservices (using FastAPI) to support chatbot functionality and data pipelines.

• Deploy scalable solutions with Docker and Kubernetes, ensuring reliability and performance.

• Collaborate with product managers, data scientists, and business stakeholders to align AI solutions with merchant needs.

  This position description identifiesthe responsibilities and tasks typically associated with the performance of the position. Other relevant essential functions may be required.

  What you need:

  • 8-10 years of experience with Hands-on experience with LLMs, AI Agents, Chatbots, and prompt engineering.

  • Strong understanding of testing and evaluation methods for LLM-powered agents, including prompt validation, output reliability, and user feedback loops.

  • Proficiencyin LangChainand LangGraphfor agentic workflows and orchestration. Familiarity with FastMCPand MCP (Model Context Protocol) for tool integration.

  • Proficiencyin Python for AI/ML development.

  • Experience building services with FastAPI.

  • Proficiencywith Docker and Kubernetes for scalable deployments.

  • Strong problem-solving and communication skills to bridge technical solutions with merchant use cases.

  • Ability to adapt quickly, learn complex systems, and contribute effectively in a fast-paced environment.

    Compensation can differ depending on factors including but not limited to the specific office location, role, skill set, education, and level of experience. UST providesa reasonable range of compensation for roles that may be hired in various U.S. markets as set forth below.

    Role Location: Arkansas

    Compensation Range:$72,000 - $108,000

    Benefits

    Full-time, regular employeesaccruea minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year(pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leaveand jury duty. Theyare eligible to participatein the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Planwith employer matching. Benefitsofferings vary in Puerto Rico.
