Logistics Coordinator 1

Your responsibilities
- You will coordinate inbound and outbound shipments, select the most appropriate transportation solutions while ensure timely and cost-effective delivery.
- You will collaborate with freight forwarders, transport providers, customs brokers, and external authorities to execute shipments and meet customs requirements.
- You will prepare, verify, and manage shipping documentation, customs declarations, permits, licenses, and certificates required for successful customs clearance.
- You will monitor shipment status, respond to customer and internal enquiries, and proactively communicate delivery updates, delays, and potential risks.
- You will support transportation planning and negotiations by providing freight cost analyses, route evaluations, and alternative shipping solutions while maintaining accurate logistics records and reports.
Qualifications and skills:
- A degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, supply chain, freight forwarding, or a related function.
- You have a good understanding of transportation processes, shipping documentation, customs clearance requirements, and supply chain operations.
- Proficient in MS Office applications, particularly Excel; experience with ERP systems is an advantage.
- Strong coordination, communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
