We are looking for a Founding AI Engineer to architect and build production-grade autonomous AI agents capable of executing complex, multi-step real-world tasks. You will own the end-to-end agentic AI infrastructure—from LLM orchestration and browser automation to memory, workflow reliability, evaluation, and production deployment.
Responsibilities:
- Agentic AI: Build production-grade LLM agents with multi-step tool calling, MCP servers, structured outputs, and context management.
- Browser Automation: Develop computer-use agents using Playwright/CDP to execute tasks across third-party websites, logins, and dynamic workflows.
- Workflow Orchestration: Design persistent memory, asynchronous task execution, scheduling, retries, and failure recovery.
- Reliability and Evaluation: Implement outcome verification, agent tracing, trajectory logging, LLM-as-judge, and regression testing.
- Backend and Infrastructure: Build scalable Python services and deploy distributed agent systems on AWS.
Requirements:
- Agentic AI: Production-grade LLM agents, orchestration, multi-step tool calling, and MCP.
- Browser Automation: Playwright, CDP, computer-use agents.
- Backend Engineering: Python, asyncio, FastAPI/Django.
- Agent Architecture: Context management, persistent memory, asynchronous workflows, failure recovery.
- Evaluation and Observability: Langfuse, OpenTelemetry, LLM-as-judge, trajectory logging.
- Cloud and DevOps: AWS (ECS, SQS, Celery, CloudWatch), scalable infrastructure, CI/CD.
Ideal Candidate:
- Proven experience building and deploying production-grade AI agents, beyond basic chatbots or RAG applications.
- Hands-on experience with browser/computer-use automation and complex agent workflows.
- Strong Python backend engineering and AWS deployment experience.
- Experience with agent evaluation, observability, and reliability engineering.
- Independent problem-solver comfortable owning architecture and execution in a fast-paced startup.
