Solution Consultant - China Clinical Operations

The Role

Veeva’s Solution Consultants are an integral part of our sales team, partnering with Market Strategies and Account Partners as product experts in the sales cycle. As a Solution Consultant for Clinical Operations, you will provide product and process expertise in the form of consultative discussions, demonstrations, tailored presentations, and conference room pilots with Veeva’s customers and prospects in China. This involves working to understand the clinical trial management and operational challenges of each customer, tailoring events to show how our Veeva Vault Clinical Suite (eTMF, CTMS, Study Training, Payment, Site Connect etc) meets those needs, articulating complex technical and regulatory concepts clearly, and effectively addressing customer questions and concerns.

What You'll Do

• Work with account partners to identify customer business challenges, clinical trial objectives, and regulatory requirements
• Design and present high-impact demonstrations, workshops, and Conference Room Pilots (CRPs) that clearly show how Veeva Clinical Operations solutions drive business value, operational efficiency, and compliance
• Lead the technical components of the sales cycle, including providing expert responses to Requests for Proposals (RFPs) and Requests for Information (RFIs)
• Manage and configure the Veeva Vault Clinical Operations demo environments, ensuring scenarios are updated to showcase the latest features, capabilities, and clinical workflows
• Work with Veeva Clinical Operations cross-functional teams (Professional Services, Strategy, CSM) to ensure customer success and market feedback integration
• Support marketing and industry presence by creating content, recording product videos, and presenting at key industry conferences and Veeva events (such as the China RDQ Summit)

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in the Life Sciences Clinical Operations domain: This includes direct experience in Clinical Trial Management (CRA/CTA etc.), Clinical IT Business Partner roles,or working for a clinical software solution vendor
• Hands-on experience with digital clinical platforms and e-Clinical solutions (e.g., Veeva Vault eTMF/CTMS or other legacy clinical systems)
• 2+ years of experience in software pre-sales (Solution Consulting) or software training for Life Sciences clinical organizations
• Strong understanding of clinical trial lifecycle, GCP compliance, and site-sponsor collaboration workflows
• Excellent presentation, demonstration, and communication skills
• Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin Chinese
• Energetic self-starter capable of working independently in a fast-paced environment
• Willingness to travel approximately 30-40% for customer engagements (primarily within China)

Nice to Have

• Familiarity with SaaS/Cloud architecture and clinical software integration models
• Hands-on experience with Veeva Vault Platform and Veeva Vault Clinical Suite (eTMF, CTMS, Site Connect, Payments etc.)
• Direct working experience in a pharmaceutical company, Biotech, or CRO in clinical
