Engagement Manager - Commercial Life Sciences

The Role

As an Engagement Manager in our Commercial practice, you will help customers bring treatments to patients faster by transforming how they work with technology, data, and AI. You will focus on reshaping operating models, driving organizational change, and measuring tangible business value.

Some of our key areas of focus include:

• Vault CRM migrations & implementations
• Activating Veeva’s standards agents in Vault CRM
• Identifying future customer engagement capabilities needed and the path to transformation
• Transforming and modernizing the way HCP engagement is planned and executed
• Optimizing field force direction, productivity, and effectiveness
• Defining the strategy and execution to realize account-based engagement
• Accelerating launch through a data-driven approach

What You'll Do

• Strategic Delivery: Act as the end-to-end lead on Veeva’s most complex, large-scale, and global engagements
• Account Leadership: Build and navigate senior customer relationships, leading proposals for significant project wins and driving long-term account strategy
• People Leadership: Lead and inspire teams of 4+ consultants across multiple projects simultaneously, fostering a culture of excellence
• Financial Oversight: Manage project budgets of $1M+, acting as the primary point of contact for project health and commercial success
• Practice Building: Support brand-building activities and the development of internal IP to keep Veeva Business Consulting at the forefront of the industry

Requirements

• Experience: 8+ years in Life Sciences Consulting (Business or Management Consulting preferred)
• Leadership: Proven track record of managing large project teams and $1M+ engagements
• Domain Knowledge: Proven expertise in customer engagement strategy, sales and commercial operations, omnichannel, marketing excellence, key account management, and/or medical affairs are preferred
• Mindset: A highly analytical approach to problem-solving with the ability to influence C-suite stakeholders
• Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher

• Deep knowledge of Veeva products
• Experience delivering SaaS or Tech-enabled consulting solutions

Compensation

• Base pay: $85,000 - $210,000
• The salary range listed here has been provided to comply with local regulations and represents a potential base salary range for this role. Please note that actual salaries may vary within the range above or below, depending on experience and location. We look at compensation for each individual and base our offer on your unique qualifications, experience, and expected contributions. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation in addition to base salary, such as variable bonus and/or stock bonus.
