Client Services Team Lead

As the Client Services Team Lead (Midwest), you will be a trusted resource for both clients and colleagues by serving as the first point of escalation for routine client matters, helping ensure exceptional service delivery. You'll also play a key role in supporting team success by monitoring workflow, balancing priorities, and providing guidance on day-to-day questions.

What You'll Do

Serve as a trusted resource for the team by providing coaching, guidance, and training that supports employee growth and performance.

Help drive operational excellence by delegating work effectively, reviewing deliverables, and ensuring high-quality outcomes.

Act as an escalation point for client and team matters, proactively identifying solutions and partnering with leadership on complex issues.

Support team success by monitoring workflow, balancing priorities, and helping achieve departmental and company performance goals.

Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of training resources, ensuring team members have the tools and knowledge needed to succeed.

Become a subject matter expert on Veritext's products and services, confidently communicating their value and associated offerings.

Lead by example through active participation in phone queues and shared inboxes, helping deliver an exceptional client experience and achieve Operations Excellence objectives.

What You Bring

3+ years of equivalent experience.

Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to coach others, navigate conflict, and foster productive working relationships.

Sound judgment and strategic thinking skills, enabling you to make informed decisions and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Proven ability to delegate responsibilities, manage competing priorities, and drive results through collaboration.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and financial systems, with the ability to quickly learn and leverage new technologies.

Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to interact professionally across all levels of the organization.

Customer-focused mindset with a passion for delivering outstanding service and building strong client relationships.

Self-motivated and solutions-oriented, with strong problem-solving, follow-through, and organizational skills.
