MS NOW is looking for a passionate, strategic, and highly motivated Senior Analyst to join the Digital Platform Analytics team. This role will use audience and subscriber data to uncover insights across the customer lifecycle, from acquisition and engagement through retention and churn.

The Senior Analyst will partner closely with Editorial, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and business teams to translate complex data into actionable insights that inform audience development, product initiatives, editorial strategy, and the growth of MS NOW’s business.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct deep-dive and exploratory analyses using SQL and other analytics tool to identify trends, opportunities, and drivers of audience and subscriber behavior, and translate findings into clear recommendations
  • Monitor and analyze key subscription and digital performance metrics, including acquisition, engagement, content consumption, retention, audience exposure, and video performance. Identify high-performing content formats, topics, audience behaviors, and emerging patterns
  • Partner with Editorial, Product, Marketing, Engineering, and business stakeholders to define KPIs, measurement frameworks, and analytical requirements and ensure consistent, accurate measurement across MS NOW’s digital products
  • Build, maintain, and evolve dashboards and recurring reporting that enable stakeholders to independently understand business and audience performance and support data democratization and governance
  • Partner with experimentation leads and Product teams to develop data-driven hypotheses, establish measurement plans, analyze experiment results, and translate findings into actionable product recommendations
  • Partner with Data Engineering, Data Science, and Product teams to develop and refine audience segmentation and predictive capabilities, including propensity and personalization models
  • Work with large, complex datasets and data lake environments to combine multiple data sources and conduct advanced analyses of user behavior and business performance
  • Communicate analytical findings and recommendations through clear, compelling narratives tailored to a range of audiences, including senior leadership
  • 3+ years of experience in digital analytics, product analytics, audience insights, or a related field, preferably within a direct-to-consumer, subscription, or digital media business
  • SQL skills and experience working with large, complex datasets
  • Proficiency in Excel and experience building analytical models and conducting details quantitative analysis
  • Experience with tools such as Databricks/Snowflake, Adobe/Google Analytics, Amplitude, Tableau/Looker/Omni, and experimentation platforms

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to move from ambiguous business questions to structured analysis and actionable recommendations
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders and translate complex data into compelling narratives

Additional Requirements:

  • Hybrid: This position has been designated as hybrid, generally contributing from the office a minimum of three days per week from our NYC office.
  • This position is eligible for company sponsored benefits, including medical, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), paid leave, tuition reimbursement, and a variety of other benefits and perks.
  • Salary: $80,000 - $100,000
