RESPONSIBILITIES
. In addition to responsibilities of and Application Engineer:
a. Manage day to day functions of Bid Center.
i. Distribute workload/bid requests appropriately based on current backlog.
ii. Ensure team is completing RFPs on time.
iii. Ensure that other requirements are completed by Application Engineers (IT training, HR training)
iv. Review RFPs and configuration with Application Engineers to ensure accuracy.
b. Serve as point of contact between Bid Center and Mexico City IT and HR support.
c. Work with Bid Center Manger to develop processes to improve efficiency, accuracy, and utilization of Bid Center
d. Foster working relationship with Sales Engineers
QUALIFICATIONS
Minimum Job Qualifications:
· Minimum 1-3 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
· Fluent English written and verbal required including electrical and mechanical terminology.
· Candidate must have a broad knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems.
· Must have the ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and one-line diagrams
· Understanding of 3 phase power and working knowledge of batteries, switchgear, and supported products.
· Collaborative skills, detail-oriented and ability to manage multiple priorities.
· Excellent problem-solving abilities and capable of resolving contract and product issues.
· Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Adobe Acrobat
· Team player with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
· Needs to have a strong understanding of electrical infrastructure design objectives, performance factors, and physical requirements
· Essential knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA.
· Strong attention to details and Effective communication
· Multitasking.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Preferred 2-4 years of experience in Electrical Engineering field.
EDUCATION AND CERTIFICATIONS
· BS degree in Engineering (preferably Electrical), or equivalent experience.
· 1-3 years of experience in electrical technical scope review and formal proposal
· development.
· Conversational English level (B1).
· Preferable knowledge of international standards such as NFPA 70E, IEEE and ANSI/NETA
