POSITION SUMMARY
This role will be responsible for developing and implementing comprehensive tools, technology, and strategies that will transform data into actionable business insights allowing organizational leaders to make informed business decisions. This includes data management and governance as well as developing management reports according to business requirements and standards. The role will be managing a pool of analysts supporting the various sales and operations programs allowing for knowledge transfer, contingency planning, and career growth.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Act as data analytics champion and business partner, advancing the relevance of data analytics in strategic planning and informed business decisions across sales, operations, and functional leadership
- Work closely with the sales, operations, and other functional leaders to identify and address gaps in data analytics
- Design, build, develop and maintain data models, reporting systems, data automation systems, dashboards and performance metrics that support key business decisions.
- Ensure accuracy of data and timeliness of deliverables
- Visualize and communicate data-driven stories followed by clear insights and recommendations
- Continuously manage and optimize processes through technology and reviews allowing the team to accomplish more with the same and achieve operational agility as the business continues to evolve
- Develop and implement data integrity controls and standards
- Train stakeholders on various data analytics tools / systems developed and educate them on how to leverage these to manage their respective businesses.
- Inspire, lead, and grow a team of analysts that will support the team’s initiatives
- This role serves as the supply-side lead in the team's demand-supply operating model, managing the analyst pool to deliver against prioritized business requirements.
- Manage analyst capacity and resource allocation across multiple concurrent programs and stakeholders, ensuring balanced workload and timely delivery.
- Explore and champion AI-driven analytics, automation tools, and emerging technologies to enhance team productivity and insight quality
- Plan and implement team engagement and retention strategies fostering a high-performance culture
- Identify and develop internal talent pipelines through structured mentoring, skills development, and succession planning to ensure leadership continuity and reduce key-person dependencies.
- Other functions related to business analytics, reporting, data management, process improvements and automation, and sales operations and support.
QUALIFICATIONS
- 10+ years relevant work experience with proven track record on:
- Data management and governance: turning data from multiple sources into actionable insights
- Working closely across all levels of the organization, functions, and countries
- Employing technology in improving processes and deliverables
- Ability to work under pressure, handle multiple tasks and deliverables within expected timelines and accuracy, and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Managing a team of analysts and developing their technical skills and business acumen
- Proficiency in BI/analytics platforms (i.e., Power BI, Snowflake), CRM systems (i.e., Oracle Sales Cloud Redwood), advanced Excel/data tools, and data engineering/programming languages (e.g., Python, SQL, DAX).
Bachelor's degree in Business, Data Science, Statistics, Information Systems, or related field; Master's degree on related field would be an advantage
