The role
Audio-based communication is growing rapidly, and so are we. As a Key Account Manager Agency, you will play an important role in contributing to Viaplay Radio’s continued growth in the Swedish media market.
You will join a driven, results-oriented and close-knit sales team, working both independently and collaboratively to develop relationships with media agencies and some of Sweden’s largest advertisers and companies.
Your role will be focused on creating strong customer relationships and developing creative and effective marketing opportunities across our portfolio of radio and digital advertising products. Together with your customers and colleagues, you will work to create successful campaigns across some of Sweden’s leading radio stations RIX FM, STAR FM, Bandit Rock and Lugna Favoriter, as well as digitally through the Viaplay Radio app.
In this role, you will:
Drive sales across the full product portfolio, including radio advertising, events, sponsorships, promotions and digital advertising.
Build, develop and maintain strong relationships with media agencies and advertisers.
Manage the full sales process, from prospecting and booking meetings to presentations, preparing proposals, negotiating and closing deals.
Develop creative and commercially successful marketing solutions together with customers and internal stakeholders.
Analyse and follow up on completed campaigns to ensure successful delivery and identify opportunities for continued business.
What we’re looking for
We understand you may feel confident ticking certain boxes more than others and that’s why we always keep an open mind in our recruitment process. But, in order to thrive in this role, we do believe you’ll have at least some experience in the following:
Previous experience in media sales, service sales or B2B sales.
Experience managing the full sales process, from prospecting to closing deals.
A proven ability to build and develop strong customer relationships.
A commercial and results-oriented mindset, with a strong focus on achieving targets.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment.
It’s a bonus if you have:
Previous experience working with media agencies or within the media and advertising industry.
Experience selling digital advertising solutions.
An established network within the Swedish media or advertising market.
A can-do attitude, positive energy and the ability to collaborate and have fun while working towards ambitious goals will also take you far in this role.
