Position: Engineer (OSP / IBC / SmallCell)

Industry/Business: Telecommunications Engineering

Location: Lumpini Tower, Rama 4 Rd., Bangkok

Starting Date: ASAP

Job Purpose:

To execute and support OSP, ICT and telecommunication engineering activities, including installation, testing, and maintaining outside plant telecommunications infrastructure, including fiber optic networks, ducts, manholes, poles, and associated passive network elements, ensuring work is completed according to technical standards, project requirements, and timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

Engineering Execution

  • Perform installation, testing, and commissioning of ICT and telecom systems.
  • Execute engineering tasks in accordance with approved designs and specifications.
  • Support troubleshooting and technical issue resolution on-site.
  • Design OSP fiber optic and telecom infrastructure networks.
  • Prepare route surveys and site assessments.
  • Develop High-Level Design (HLD) and Low-Level Design (LLD).
  • Optimize cable routes, duct utilization, and fiber allocation.
  • Produce engineering drawings, as-built documentation and PAT document.

Site Coordination

  • Coordinate with subcontractors and site teams to ensure smooth project execution.
  • Monitor daily site activities and report progress to Senior Engineer or Project Manager.

Documentation & Reporting

  • Prepare and update engineering documentation, reports, and site records.
  • Ensure accurate recording of work progress and technical data.

Quality & Safety Compliance

  • Ensure all work complies with technical standards, safety requirements, and company policies.
  • Follow QHSE guidelines during project execution.

Support Project Activities

  • Assist in project planning, material preparation, and resource coordination.
  • Support Senior Engineer in technical tasks and project delivery.
  • Other assignment as required.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 2-5 years of experience in ICT/Telecom engineering or related field.
  • Basic knowledge of telecom systems (e.g., IBC, Macro, network infrastructure).
  • Experience in site work, installation, or maintenance is preferred.
  • Good command of Thai and English (spoken and written).
  • Able to work on-site and travel upcountry as required.
