Sales Engineer

to join the Commercial team in Thessaloniki

As a Sales Engineer, you will report to the XXX, and you will undertake a broad range of commercial activities, focusing on customer development, technical sales and market growth.

Your Role:

• Manage technical sales activities, including commercial discussions, quotations and negotiations with customers
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing customers while identifying opportunities to expand the customer base
• Conduct regular customer visits to gather market insights, identify business opportunities and maintain up-to-date market mapping
• Monitor market developments, customer needs and competitive activity, providing relevant insights to support commercial decision-making
• Coordinate with the back-office team to ensure the effective execution of day-to-day sales activities and customer requirements
• Liaise with Production and Logistics teams to ensure the smooth execution of customer orders and timely product availability
• Collaborate with the Quality department to address customer claims, ensure effective resolution and support the continuous improvement of relevant products
• Contribute to the development and execution of sales and marketing initiatives aimed at increasing market penetration, achieving sales targets and improving profitability
• Monitor inventory levels and product availability, coordinating with relevant teams to align stock and production plans with customer demand

Your Profile:

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering

• 1-5 years prior experience in a sales role, preferably in a commercial or industrial environment
• Proficient user of Microsoft Office (Excel & Power Point)
• Knowledge of ERP (SAP) and CRM systems will be considered advantageous
• Willingness to travel as part of the role
