The North America Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) team serves as a business partner and provides financial support and strategic insight to a variety of regional and business functions. We play a key role in providing financial planning, month-end reporting, and decision support analytics to business leaders. The team is tasked with developing conceptually sound, rigorous, and detailed understandings of the various elements that impactnet revenue, with the goal of optimizing financial performance and delivering against financial goals.The Finance Intern(“FINtern”), will join an FP&A team that is the day-to-day financial ‘eyes and ears’ for roughly halfof Visa’s global net revenue.
Some job duties and projects could include:
Support in the maintenance oflarge and complex datasets of drivers for hundreds of Big Tech and Fintech partners
Collaborate and coordinate cross-functionally with a broad base of stakeholders (i.e.Corporate Finance, FP&A, Strategy, Controllership, etc.)
Analyze monthly and quarterly results, identifyand interpret key variances, trends, and insights, present key findings to senior leadership and executive management audience
Learn and understand Visa's financial reporting systems, run data queries, develop financial architecture, and support finance technology initiatives
Develop a foundational understanding of multi-party economic model (issuers, acquirers, processors, interchange, merchants, cardholders, etc.)
Support in the creation of self-served client-based dashboards for business partners
Assist infinancial planning, creating budgets, forecastingand management reporting
All Visa roles require digital fluency, including the ability to work with emerging technologies such as Generative AI tools (e.g.ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot) to support everyday work.
Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- Students pursuing a Bachelor's or Master’sDegree with a graduation date in December 2027-August 2028
Preferred Qualifications
Working knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI, experience with complex financial or data systems such as Tableau or SQL is a plus
Familiarwith forecast modeling and managing large datasets
Analytical, project management, and prioritization skills
Proficient written and oral communication skills
Attention to detail
Ability to work with data and organize in a logical and efficient manner
Ability to work with cross-functional teams and produce time-sensitive deliverables
Ability to manage in a dynamic environment with changing priorities
Good team player and excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
