Do you want to help us build the DNA of tech? Vishay Dale Electronics - Columbus, NE is currently seeking applicants for a Die Technician on 2nd shift (Monday - Thursday, 3:00pm - 1:30am). Overtime is available as needed. Responsible for performing machining and die work to help enhance and enable the production processes for Vishay.
Job Location:
Vishay Dale Electronics, Columbus, NE is one of the world’s largest manufacturers of resistors and e-beam technology. There are around 600 employees currently working in Columbus, NE. We are one of the largest employers in the Columbus Area.
What you will be doing:
- Operates all types of machine tool equipment such as lathes, drill presses, milling machines, and surface grinders to produce tooling fixtures.
- Troubleshoots and changes out tooling in precision stamping dies as needed.
- Checks and inspects machining operations against specified tolerances.
- Makes adjustments or repairs to equipment as necessary.
- Identifies to Supervisor or Lead-person any specification, equipment, or material shortcomings.
- Performs other various tasks as directed from the Supervisor.
What you will bring along:
- Technical Certification and/or 1 to 3 years machinist experience
- Ability to read, write and perform arithmetic calculations.
- Prior production experience is desirable
