About this Role
A DevOps Engineer's daily activities involve managing CI/CD pipelines, automating infrastructure deployment, and ensuring system reliability through monitoring and logging. They collaborate with developers to streamline code integration and troubleshoot deployment issues while optimizing performance. Security and compliance are key aspects, requiring regular updates, patching, and access control management. Additionally, they work with containerization, cloud platforms, and scripting to maintain scalable, efficient, and resilient infrastructure.
What you’ll do
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and automated cloud infrastructure using AWS, Terraform, and Terragrunt.
- Oversee the management and optimization of Kubernetes clusters, ensuring high availability, security, and operational excellence.
- Develop and enhance CI/CD pipelines with GitHub Actions and ArgoCD to streamline deployment processes and support GitOps methodologies.
- Oversee automation initiatives using Golang and Bash to improve infrastructure reliability and efficiency.
- Implement and maintain observability solutions leveraging Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo to ensure proactive monitoring and performance optimization.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with engineering teams to align infrastructure strategies with business goals and technology advancements.
Who you are
- Strong hands-on expertise with AWS cloud services.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform and Terragrunt.
- Strong knowledge of Kubernetes administration, operations, and optimisation.
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and ArgoCD.
- Proficiency in scripting and automation using Golang and Bash.
- Experience with observability and monitoring platforms including Grafana, Prometheus, Loki, and Tempo.Knowledge of containerisation technologies and cloud-native architectures.
- Understanding of security best practices, compliance requirements, patch management, and access controls.
