Location: Newbury + Hybrid

Working hours: Full time 37.5 hours per week - Monday to Friday

What you'll do

Join us at a truly career-defining moment as we help create the UK's largest mobile network provider. In this highly visible and varied role, you'll sit at the heart of our Finance team, partnering across Wholesale, Retail Property, and Enabling Functions. You'll use your financial insight to influence decisions, improve performance, and help shape the future of a fast-growing business area while building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation.

You will:

• Analyse Wholesale business performance, identifying key trends, risks, opportunities, and drivers behind financial results.
• Produce insightful variance analysis against budgets, forecasts, and targets, helping stakeholders make informed decisions.
• Support forecasting, budgeting, and long-term planning across Wholesale products and services.
• Track the performance of new products and initiatives, measuring results against business cases and expected outcomes.
• Own and maintain forecasting templates, consolidating inputs and ensuring accurate financial reporting.
• Lead Retail Property cost reporting, providing accurate month-end analysis and clear financial insights.
• Work closely with Retail, Commercial Finance, Property teams, Financial Control, and external partners to ensure reporting accuracy and strong governance.
• Present financial results and business performance in a clear and engaging way to both finance and non-finance audiences.
• Partner with Enabling Functions, providing month-end reporting, variance analysis, and recommendations to improve operational performance.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and help drive efficiencies that support business objectives.
• Build trusted relationships with stakeholders, influencing decisions and challenging constructively to deliver the best outcomes.

Who you are

• Fully or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, or CIMA).
• Strong financial analysis, accounting, and reporting experience.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, lookups, filters, and data analysis techniques.
• Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and deliver high-quality results in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
• Confident communicator who can translate complex financial information into clear, meaningful insights.
• Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build relationships and influence at all levels, including senior leadership.
• Curious, proactive, and eager to understand the commercial drivers behind business performance.
• Comfortable working across multiple business areas and adapting to changing priorities.
• Passionate about collaboration, learning, and making a meaningful impact in a role where your ideas and expertise will help shape the future of the business.
