Junior / Strong Junior Python Developer

Position Description

Volo is hiring a motivated Junior / Strong Junior Python Developer to join our software development team.

This role is a great fit for a developer with solid Python fundamentals who is ready to grow into a professional software engineer, work on real-world commercial projects and master modern engineering practices.

What You Need to Have

• Good knowledge of Python and a solid understanding of its core concepts.
• Basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP).
• Understanding of web development principles and REST APIs.
• Basic knowledge of SQL and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn new technologies quickly.
• Responsible and proactive approach to tasks and commitments.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.

Nice to Have

• Experience with FastAPI and/or Django.
• Experience with PostgreSQL or another relational database.
• Basic understanding of computer networks and HTTP.
• Basic knowledge of Docker, virtualization or cloud environments.
• Experience with Git or another version control system.
• Basic understanding of CI/CD and modern software delivery practices.
• Basic understanding of AI/LLM technologies.
• Experience using AI coding assistants or AI agents as part of the software development process.
