Client Portfolio Manager, Emerging Markets Fixed Income

With investment boutiques in New York (Quality Growth), London (TwentyFour Asset Management), and Zurich (Fixed Income, Multi Asset, Conviction Equities), we are seeking a Client Portfolio Manager (CPM) to champion our Emerging Markets Fixed Income (EM FI) flagship products.

As a CPM, you will play a pivotal role in representing our boutique investment team in the client experience, including prospect and consultant engagements. You will bring your client servicing and investment expertise and commercial acumen to advanced prospect situations, deliver exceptional client service, and act as a trusted advisor with a consultative, solution-oriented mindset. Reporting to the head of Fixed Income CPM, this entrepreneurial role offers the opportunity to be at the forefront of our global growth strategy while working closely with our Portfolio Managers, country client teams, RFP team and senior management.

What would your role be?

Role Details

• Originate and validate investment messaging, marketing materials, and written content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and compliance
• Ensure excellence in RFP responses, reporting, client engagement preparation, follow-up, and communication, setting industry-leading standards
• Represent the Emerging Markets Fixed Income Investment team in client, prospect, and consultant meetings, articulating our investment philosophy, strategy, and portfolio positioning with authority and clarity
• Collaborate with regional client teams to execute the EM FI engagement plan, including finals presentations, roadshows, event presentations, and performance review meetings
• Take a proactive, commercial perspective in advanced sales processes and client retention, co-leading business development initiatives to achieve sustainable growth
• Maintain in-depth knowledge of investment strategies by attending meetings, reviewing research, and leveraging information services to credibly represent the Investment Team

Key Deliverables

• Ensure excellence is desk based activities such as client servicing, RFP responses and content creation
• Drive impactful prospect and client meeting activity
• Support the growth of regionally prioritized EM FI products in alignment with the integrated sales plan, including training
• Build a strong reputation for Emerging Markets Fixed Income within all client region
• Be recognized internally and externally as their trusted EM FI expert and advisor, fostering long-term partnerships
• Ensure the accuracy and compliance of all external communications and materials

What are we looking for?

• A deep interest in Emerging Markets Fixed Income and the ability to communicate this enthusiasm to clients and stakeholders.
• A track record of building books of business and excelling in client-facing roles, including winning finals presentations and handling performance review meetings.
• The ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences across regions and formats, from one-on-one meetings to keynote speeches.
• Proficient in technology and automation including AI, MS Office, with strong skills in Excel and PowerPoint; Bloomberg and programming/scripting languages (VBA or Matlab) are a plus
• At least 2+ years of Fixed Income sell-side experience and institutional investment firm expertise.
• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance or related field, Master Degree a plus
• CFA and/or other investment designations a plus
• A proactive, self-driven approach to working in a dynamic, investment-led team and international environment
• Willingness to travel extensively, both domestically and internationally, to meet the demands of a dynamic client engagement schedule.
• Native in German and fluency in English is required; additional languages like French and Italian are a plus.
