Position: Senior Manager Product Management - APD Assortment

Duties: Translate organizational strategy into scalable product capabilities for the APD Assortment space: own roadmaps, intake, prioritization, dependency management, and reporting; operationalize platform strategy and communicate roadmap direction to senior stakeholders. Lead continuous planning and enablement for APD Assortment by balancing near-term delivery with long-term platform sustainability and technical-debt management; manage risk-based prioritization to protect platform reliability and maintainability. Lead APD Assortment product initiatives end-to-end: run discovery and hypothesis validation, author PRDs, user stories, and acceptance criteria, conduct sprint planning, oversee delivery, and drive iterative improvements with engineering, design, data, operations, and vendor partners. Manage and mentor a team of product managers and drive cross-functional execution: set vision, define OKRs and delivery plans; run regular 1:1s and performance conversations; lead hiring (panel interviews and candidate evaluation); coordinate program governance, cross-team planning, and backlog prioritization; and communicate trade-offs and timelines clearly at all levels. Define capacity and network planning requirements for enhanced assortment models: develop capacity models, throughput objectives, operating windows, inventory and assortment eligibility, and assortment tiers to ensure solutions meet market-level operating constraints. Own vendor and merchant DSD integrations at scale for APD Assortment: establish standardized technical interfaces, sandbox and test plans, and rollout criteria; streamline partner onboarding, versioning, and verification to reduce integration risk. Define and own market-aware eligibility models and enforcement: specify assortment, weight/size, and inventory constraints; implement capacity-aware eligibility tied to throughput and operating windows and promised-speed tiers; build eligibility evaluation pipelines, A/B test eligibility rules during pilots, and instrument drift/failure metrics so rollouts scale reliably. Lead item data governance for APD Assortment: own schemas and mappings (GTIN, Tempzone, dimension attributes), validation and reconciliation processes, vendor sync/onboarding rules, and data-quality SLAs; build dashboards and alerts for item health (mapping errors, missing attributes, freshness) and run remediation playbooks with engineering, data, and vendor partners. Contribute to the evolution toward intelligent, automated, and agent-enabled product workflows for APD Assortment: define roadmap initiatives and pilot automation/agent capabilities to reduce manual operations and enable smarter decisioning. Lead adoption, launch, and scale of assortment changes: partner with business teams on enablement strategy, change management, positioning, pricing/fees, promo strategy, CRM/notifications, and in-app education; create launch playbooks, SOPs, and self-serve guides to support site launches and handoffs. Minimum education and experience required: Master's degree or the equivalent in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field plus 5 years of experience in product management or related experience; OR Bachelor's degree or the equivalent in computer science, engineering, information technology, or related field plus 7 years of post-bachelor’s progressively responsible experience in product management or related experience.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Creating and executing product roadmap using tools such as JIRA; Translating business use cases into technical requirements, technical writing and creating process flows for current and future states.; User and business acceptance testing for simple products/features; Articulating problem statements and hypotheses to guide team members towards prototypes; Prototyping, A/B Testing, and Design Verification; Translating Product Vision and its technical parts of product strategy for stakeholders to prioritize and influence the best benefit of the product; Creating and tracking timelines for execution, change management, user tracking, idea capture, and collaboration tools including Slack, Microsoft teams, Zoom, Google Drive, and SharePoint; Managing backlog/priority trade-off decisions and communications independently; Navigating through organizational constraints and dependencies while identifying resources; Building stakeholder alignment and managing cross-functional partnerships ;Building a professional network and articulate results/recommendations; Agile planning and execution running scrum activities including Sprint planning, Backlog Grooming, PI Planning, Retrospective meetings, PI Demos; Data analysis and extraction, and measuring KPI Metrics using SQL, EDW, Google Analytics, and Tableau, and using it in strategic decision-making based on data analytics; Data reporting to measure and improve KPIs, including customer impacting metrics and data assortment, and Inventory accuracy using SQL, Tableau, and Power BI Dashboards; Managing product/feature rollouts and scaling using an MVP approach. Rate of pay: $110,000.00 - 220,000.00 /year
