Position: Staff Solution Consultant

Duties: Develops business cases for projects with a projected return on investment or cost savings. Translates business requirements into projects, activities, and tasks in alignment with the overall business strategy. Serves as an interpreter and conduit to connect business needs with tangible solutions and results. Recommends new processes and ways of working. Interprets business metrics and relevant data models and reports and utilizes appropriate data points to highlight and explain simple to moderately complex business issues to stakeholders and customers/sellers. Drives business and user acceptance testing for complex solutions/offerings by considering the impacts on various cross-functional teams and stakeholders. Demonstrates awareness of various principles, ways of working, and subdomain-specific terminologies across multiple subdomains within a domain. Compares the maturity of products, services, and processes across subdomains with others in the industry. Identifies areas of innovation across the subdomains, shares potential innovations with leadership, and drives initiatives. Recommends new processes, automation opportunities, and ways of working for subdomains. Assists in the creation of simple, modular, extensible, and functional designs for products/solutions in accordance with business requirements. Evaluates trade-offs while designing across multiple components in a product based on business requirements. Converts HLD to create detailed designs using mock screens, pseudo codes, and detailed functional logic of modules for specific modules/components of a product. Understands the nuances of designing for disaster recovery. Designs and creates MVP to clarify requirements and design and uncover risks. Updates data from all sources as needed and when configuration changes are deployed. Conducts analysis for simple configuration changes. Prepares documentation for configuration. Oversees the end-to-end process of application integration to the target environment. Investigates issues or failures of application integration. Facilitates modifications to improve the success of integration between application programs. Translates customer requirements into test strategy (applicable to IC and PL). Identifies scopes and methods of testing for each requirement (applicable only to IC). Ensures test cases cover all test scenarios (for example, functionality, performance, security, integration, data migration, accessibility) for a product/solution (applicable only to IC). Drives the execution of test cases to test code and detect errors and defects for an entire product (applicable only to IC). Performs maintenance (corrective, adaptive, perfective) and re-engineering activities. Analyzes application logs, maintenance activity data, performance data, and provide analysis. Evaluates change requests to identify changes which are valid and feasible. Drives the execution of multiple business plans and projects by identifying customer and operational needs; developing and communicating business plans and priorities; removing barriers and obstacles that impact performance; providing resources; identifying performance standards; measuring progress and adjusting performance; accordingly, developing contingency plans; and demonstrating adaptability and supporting continuous learning.

Minimum education and experience required: Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Management, Engineering (any), or related field plus 4 years of experience in software engineering or a related field; OR Master's degree or the equivalent in Computer Science, Management, Engineering (any), or related field plus 2 years of experience in software engineering or a related field.

Skills required: Must have experience with: Coordinating and overseeing activities related to SAP SuccessFactors projects by building and maintaining strong relationships with the cross-functional and the business teams; Designing and developing comprehensive end-to-end data mapping between SAP SuccessFactors and downstream/upstream systems by enabling seamless master data integration, ensuring data flow accuracy, and significantly enhancing overall system efficiency; Performing requirements gathering and analysis by applying in-depth knowledge of traceability matrices, risk and cost analysis, business goals, requirement categorization, and user story frameworks to assess SAP SuccessFactors' relevance to customer needs; Collaborating on high-level designs, translating them into detailed designs, including mock-ups, pseudo code, and functional logic; Executing diverse testing types, tracking, and analyzing defects, and performing regression testing to ensure SAP SuccessFactors components meet quality and functional requirements; Troubleshooting performance issues, managing project timelines, and ensuring delivery milestones are met, contributing to the seamless implementation and optimization of SAP SuccessFactors solutions; Designing and developing or improving functionalities to align with business needs across SuccessFactors modules, including Employee Central and Cloud Integrations; implementing Job Profile Builder configurations to meet specific country-based requirements; defining business and eligibility rules for validation purposes; generating new reports within SAP SuccessFactors; Developing test scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and System Integration Testing (SIT); integrating SuccessFactors with various third-party systems and applications; Enabling new functionalities released in SuccessFactors; SuccessFactors modules with impact analysis; Designing Role-Based Permissions (RBPs) and managing security settings. Employer will accept any amount of experience with the required skills.

Rate of pay: $97,261.00 - 180,000.00/year
