Role summary:The Technician, Facility Services General Maintenance, is responsible for performing routine preventive maintenance to ensure the safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities and equipment. What you'll do:
- Perform routine preventive maintenance to ensure safety, functionality, and appearance of facilities, equipment, and fixtures.
- Inspect, clean, and repair facilities and equipment, documenting wear, deficiencies, and maintenance activities.
- Manage work orders, maintenance schedules, and contractor compliance with quality and safety standards.
- Order parts, track purchases, and submit warranty claims while conducting price comparisons.
- Operate and inspect heavy machinery and vehicles, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.
- Coordinate vehicle maintenance and maintain required documentation.
- Collaborate with teams to implement processes that meet business needs and promote continuous improvement.
What you'll bring:
- Proven experience performing preventive maintenance and repairs on facilities, equipment, or fixtures.
- Ability to operate, inspect, and maintain heavy machinery and powered equipment safely and efficiently.
- Strong knowledge of safety regulations, including OSHA and EPA compliance requirements.
- Skilled in managing work orders, maintenance schedules, and coordinating with contractors.
- Proficient in documenting maintenance activities, tracking parts, and submitting warranty claims.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills to support collaboration and continuous improvement.

The hourly wage range for this position is $26.00 - $51.00*
*The actual hourly rate will equal or exceed the required minimum wage applicable to the job location.
Additional compensation in the form of premiums may be paid in amounts ranging from $0.35 per hour to $3.00 per hour in specific circumstances. Premiums may be based on schedule, facility, season, or specific work performed. Multiple premiums may apply if applicable criteria are met.

Minimum Qualifications...

Vocational or technical certification and 2 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.Option 2: 4 years' experience in plumbing, electrical, material handling equipment, or related area.
Valid state-issued driver’s license and ability to pass a motor vehicle report.
Commercial driving record with no convictions for DUI, DWI, OUI within the last five (5) years.
Commercial driving record with no more than two (2) moving violations in the last three (3) years.
No preventable accidents while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
No serious traffic violations, as defined by the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Regulations, while operating a commercial motor vehicle in the last three (3) years.
