Lead Software Engineer
Role Overview
Drive an Al-first SOLC with a focused engineering team responsible for the end-to-end delivery of secure, scalable, and maintainable software solutions. Engage directly with users, leverage Al-assisted rapid prototyping to validate requirements, and oversee Al-assisted design, development, testing, deployment and maintenance while ensuring engineering quality and governance.
Key Responsibilities
1. User Engagement & Rapid Prototyping
« Engage directly with users and stakeholders to capture and validate requirements.
« Use Al-assisted rapid prototyping to refine requirements and develop solutions collaboratively.
« Translate validated requirements into actionable development tasks.
2. Al-First Engineering & Technical Leadership
« Support a focused development team through an Al- assisted SDLC.
- Drive Al adoption across coding, testing, deployment, documentation, and software maintenance.
« Ensure appropriate human validation of Al-generated outputs and adherence to engineering standards.
3. Architecture & Technology
« Design and govern application architecture, including microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure and integrations.
« Evaluate and recommend technologies while ensuring scalability, security, maintainability, and cost efficiency.
4. Security, Quality & DevOps
« Ensure compliance with security, governance and software development standards.
- Oversee CI/CD, automated testing, observability, deployment and production reliability.
5. Delivery & Collaboration
« Ensure high-quality, predictable delivery through Agile- based development.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and stakeholders to align technical solutions with business needs.
6. Documentation & Continuous Improvement
« Maintain architecture documentation, technical decisions, and API specifications.
« Continuously improve Al-assisted engineering practices, delivery efficiency, and solution quality.
Skills and Qualifications
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related discipline.
8+ years of experience in software engineering, application architecture, or technology leadership.
Proven experience in designing and delivering enterprise-grade, scalable software solutions.
Experience leading engineering teams and managing end-to-end software delivery.
Professional experience with Al-assisted software development and modern engineering practices.
Technical Skills
Strong expertise in Al-first SOLC and Al-assisted software engineering.
Application architecture, including microservices, APIs, cloud infrastructure, and system integrations.
Software development, code review, automated testing, and quality assurance.
CI/CD, DevOps, deployment automation, observability, and production reliability.
Application security, secure coding practices, and engineering governance.
Technology evaluation, optimization, and cost-efficient solution design.
Leadership & Professional Skills
Strong user engagement, requirements analysis, and rapid prototyping capabilities.
Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and actionable development tasks.
Experience leading focused, high-performing engineering teams.
Strong Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Ability to validate Al-generated outputs and maintain engineering quality standards.
Strong technical documentation, architectural decision-making, and continuous improvement mindset.
