Responsibility:
- Drives business outcomes by taking a product from problem definition through release and continuous improvement.
Interview stakeholders and users to understand the problem space and define clear problem statements.
Develop proposals to justify resource requirements and secure funding.
Define success measures and establish dashboards to monitor progress.
Identify hypotheses, develop product strategy and define initiatives to achieve desired outcomes.
Create the product roadmap and work with the team to deliver against its goals.
Collaborate with designers and software engineers to develop, test and release the product.
Measure outcomes and continuously improve the product.
Engage and support users to encourage product adoption.
Experience and Skills
Proven track record of driving business outcomes.
End-to-end experience working with design and engineering teams to build products.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage senior stakeholders effectively.
Ability to work independently and under pressure, and to prioritise effectively to meet tight deadlines.
The following would be an advantage:
Experience with platforms such as Confluence, JIRA and Balsamiq.
A degree or diploma in Computer Science, Product Management or a related field.
Certifications such as Scrum Master, Product Owner or Business Analysis Professional.
