We are looking for a dynamic and execution-focused Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead and strengthen the organisation’s overall operations and ensure effective execution of business priorities. The role requires strong operational leadership, strategic thinking, process discipline, and the ability to translate business objectives into scalable operating practices.

The COO will work closely with senior leadership to improve operational efficiency, establish robust processes, drive accountability, and ensure consistent execution across functions. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and taking ownership of complex operational challenges.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the organisation’s overall operations and ensure efficient execution of business priorities.
• Translate strategic objectives into clear operational plans, initiatives, milestones, and measurable outcomes.
• Establish and continuously improve operational processes, systems, policies, and governance frameworks.
• Drive operational efficiency, productivity, cost optimisation, and scalability across business functions.
• Develop performance metrics, dashboards, and operating reviews to monitor business and operational performance.
• Identify operational bottlenecks, process gaps, risks, and inefficiencies and drive corrective actions.
• Build strong cross-functional coordination between Operations, Finance, Technology, Sales, HR, and other teams.
• Establish clear ownership, accountability, and performance expectations across operational teams.
• Lead business transformation, process improvement, and operational excellence initiatives.
• Ensure effective allocation of people, technology, financial resources, and other operational assets.
• Develop scalable operating models to support business growth, expansion, and changing organisational requirements.
• Monitor service delivery, quality, turnaround times, productivity, and other operational performance indicators.
• Identify opportunities for automation, digitisation, and technology-enabled operational improvements.
• Establish appropriate controls and processes to manage operational, financial, compliance, and execution risks.
• Support annual planning, budgeting, forecasting, and resource planning in collaboration with senior leadership.
• Review operational performance regularly and present key insights, risks, and recommendations to leadership.
• Build, mentor, and develop high-performing operational teams and future leaders.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement, ownership, accountability, and execution excellence.
• Manage critical operational issues and ensure timely resolution of escalations.
• Lead strategic operational projects and other business-critical initiatives as required.

• 4+ years of experience in operations leadership, business operations, general management, strategy, or a closely related function.
• Strong hands-on experience managing end-to-end operations in a growing or complex organisation.
• Demonstrated ability to design and implement scalable operational processes and systems.
• Strong understanding of operational planning, performance management, resource allocation, and process optimisation.
• Experience driving operational excellence, cost efficiency, productivity improvements, and business transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
• Excellent leadership and stakeholder-management skills with the ability to influence senior and cross-functional teams.
• Strong commercial understanding and ability to connect operational decisions with business objectives.

• Comfortable working in fast-paced, entrepreneurial, and evolving environments.
• High ownership mindset with a strong focus on accountability and measurable outcomes.
• Experience building and scaling teams, processes, and operating models is highly desirable.
• Ability to balance strategic leadership with hands-on operational execution.
• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Operations, Engineering, Management, or a related discipline is preferred.
