We are looking for an experienced Finance Transformation / Digital Owner to lead and drive finance transformation initiatives across a large-scale manufacturing environment. The role will be responsible for identifying opportunities to digitize and optimize finance processes, strengthen financial controls, improve data visibility, and leverage technology to enable faster and more effective decision-making.

The ideal candidate will bring strong expertise in Finance Transformation, Manufacturing Finance, and SAP, with the ability to work across finance, technology, operations, and business teams. This role requires a combination of finance domain knowledge, digital transformation experience, process excellence, and strong stakeholder management skills.

Requirements

Key Responsibilities

• Own and lead the finance transformation and digital roadmap, aligned with overall business and manufacturing objectives.
• Identify opportunities to simplify, standardize, automate, and digitize end-to-end finance processes across multiple business functions and locations.
• Drive transformation across core finance areas including Record-to-Report, Procure-to-Pay, Order-to-Cash, Fixed Assets, Cost Accounting, Management Reporting, FP&A, and Financial Planning.
• Partner with finance leadership, IT, manufacturing, supply chain, procurement, and business stakeholders to define transformation priorities and deliver measurable outcomes.
• Lead implementation, enhancement, and optimization of SAP-based finance solutions, ensuring effective integration with business processes and other enterprise systems.
• Evaluate existing finance processes and systems, identify gaps, and develop future-state operating models and technology solutions.
• Drive automation and digital initiatives that improve process efficiency, data quality, controls, reporting, and finance productivity.
• Establish governance frameworks, transformation KPIs, project milestones, and benefits-tracking mechanisms.
• Manage cross-functional transformation programs from strategy and business case development through implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure finance systems and digital solutions comply with internal controls, audit requirements, and relevant accounting and business policies.
• Work closely with technology teams to define functional requirements, solution architecture, integrations, testing, and deployment plans.
• Support change management, user adoption, training, and communication for new finance processes and digital platforms.
• Identify emerging technologies and assess their potential application within finance and manufacturing operations.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong experience in Finance Transformation and large-scale digital transformation programs.
• 10-18 years of overall experience, preferably within manufacturing or industrial organizations.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing finance, costing, controlling, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with SAP, particularly SAP Finance/Controlling processes and transformation initiatives.
• Experience managing complex, cross-functional transformation programs involving Finance and IT.
• Strong understanding of finance process standardization, automation, controls, and operating-model transformation.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to work with senior business and technology leadership.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, program management, and change-management capabilities.

Good-to-Have Skills

• Exposure to Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and their integration with finance and enterprise platforms.
• Understanding of Smart Factory, Industry 4.0, IoT, connected manufacturing, and digital plant initiatives.
• Experience integrating manufacturing, operational, and financial data for real-time reporting and decision-making.
• Exposure to advanced analytics, AI/automation, process mining, or other emerging digital technologies.
• Experience working on global SAP transformation, ERP modernization, or enterprise digital programs.
