ABOUT THE ROLE

We are actively looking for our future E-commerce Europe Business Analysis Manager reporting to the Global Ecommerce VP, this role will support the European e-commerce business by providing data, insights, and recommendations to accelerate sustainable growth across marketplaces, e-retailers, and direct-to-consumer channels.

The role is meant to proactively monitor ecommerce performance, identify risks and opportunities early, and recommend corrective actions. The Analyst Manager will own e-commerce performance analysis and reporting across commercial, retail, media, operational, and consumer metrics. Working closely with commercial, marketing, finance, supply chain, and digital teams, the role will translate complex data into clear business recommendations and support high-quality, data-driven decision-making.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

Business analysis and recommendations

  • Proactively monitor ecommerce performance and flag risks and opportunities early, with a point of view on what to do about them.
  • Diagnose the drivers behind performance across the full funnel: traffic, conversion, average order value, media efficiency and ROAS, pricing and promotion, availability, profitability, and retention.
  • Recommend specific actions to improve KPIs, size the expected impact, and track whether the actions delivered.
  • Connect insights across internal and external data sources (retailer data, media platforms, digital shelf tools, finance, supply chain) to give one coherent view of the business.
  • Support commercial planning, business reviews, and investment decisions with analysis, including media allocation and ROI by channel, brand, and market.
  • Present conclusions and recommendations to senior leadership in clear, concise language.

Reporting:

  • Own global ecommerce reporting, including weekly and monthly performance reporting versus plan and prior year by region, channel, account, and brand.
  • Build and maintain dashboards covering sales, consumption, profitability, media, customer, and operational performance.
  • Deliver standardized reporting alongside customized analyses for specific business questions.
  • Improve reporting efficiency through automation, scalable tools, and self-service dashboards, so more time goes to analysis than to data preparation.
  • Strengthen data governance and data quality across ecommerce reporting.

Stakeholder partnership:

  • Partner with commercial, marketing, operations, finance, and technology teams to understand their business questions and translate them into analysis.
  • Work with market and account teams so that insights turn into action.

Specifics :

  • Assess product and category performance across key metrics available in various sources (Vendor Central…) strategic search terms, digital shelves, and customer journeys.
  • Analyze consumer search, browsing, and purchasing behavior to identify emerging trends, growth opportunities, and changes in customer preferences.
  • Contribute to joint business planning with key e-commerce customers and partners, supporting targets, forecasts, and strategic growth priorities.
  • Evaluate new versus repeat customer behavior and recommend actions to strengthen acquisition, retention, and customer lifetime value.
  • Use basket and affinity analysis to identify cross-selling, bundling, and portfolio development opportunities. Analyze product comparison, substitution, and competitive performance to support assortment, pricing, content, and activation decisions.
  • Assess the commercial impact of digital campaigns, promotions, content improvements, and media activations.

WHAT WE WANT YOU TO BRING ALONG

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Analytics, Management, Finance, Economics, Data Science, or another relevant field.
  • At least 3 years of experience in e-commerce, digital analytics, consumer goods, retail, beauty, fashion, or a related industry.
  • Strong understanding of e-commerce business models, including marketplaces, e-retailers, omnichannel retail, and direct-to-consumer platforms.
  • Good knowledge of digital commerce performance drivers, including traffic, conversion, assortment, content, pricing, promotions, media, availability, and profitability.
  • Experience working with e-commerce, retailer, media, consumer, and operational datasets.
  • Proficiency in English
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with the ability to transform complex data into clear business recommendations.
  • Proficiency in reporting, data visualization, and analytical tools such as Excel, Power BI, or equivalent platforms.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively in a fast-paced, international environment.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Results-oriented, proactive, and comfortable working independently as well as across cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with major marketplace or retailer platforms, including Amazon Vendor Central, is an advantage but not a prerequisite.
