Western Digital is an American data storage company founded in 1970 that, since separating its flash memory business as SanDisk in early 2025, concentrates entirely on hard disk drives. Its drives are sold overwhelmingly to cloud and enterprise data centre operators rather than to consumers, and the company competes with Seagate in a market where areal density technologies such as shingled and heat-assisted recording determine cost per terabyte. Headquartered in San Jose and listed on Nasdaq, it has benefited from the sharp increase in storage demand created by artificial intelligence workloads.

WD is building the infrastructure behind the AI-driven data economy.

As AI scales, so does data. Every interaction, every model, every system generates data that must be stored, managed, and made accessible over time. That’s where we come in.

We combine deep engineering expertise with global-scale manufacturing to deliver the storage systems that make AI possible, powering hyperscale data centers, cloud platforms, and enterprise infrastructure worldwide.

This isn’t theoretical work. It’s real systems, at real scale, people solving some of the hardest challenges in technology today.

We’re looking for people who want to build, solve, and operate at that level.

Join us and let’s shape the future of data.

We are seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Project Manager, Human Resources to lead and deliver complex HR programs across the Asia Pacific region. • Change & Transformation Management: Lead organizational change and workforce transformation initiatives, developing implementation strategies that drive adoption, minimize disruption, and enable successful business outcomes.
  • Risk & Compliance: Ensure HR projects align with labor laws, data privacy regulations, and company policies, mitigating risks related to compliance and employee relations through partnership with Legal and Compliance teams.
  • Resource Planning & Delivery Management: Manage project timelines, dependencies, resources, and delivery plans to ensure successful execution and achievement of business objectives.
  • Governance & Reporting: Establish project governance, executive reporting, and performance metrics that provide visibility into progress, risks, dependencies, and business outcomes. Prepare and deliver executive-level communications and presentations to support decision-making and stakeholder alignment.
  • Process Excellence & Scalability: Develop and continuously improve project management frameworks, playbooks, and operating models that enable scalable and repeatable HR program delivery.

Experience:

  • 8+ years of project or program management experience, including experience supporting Human Resources, People Operations, Talent, or Organizational initiatives.
  • Experience leading large-scale, cross-functional projects across multiple countries, cultures and time zones.
  • Experience working within a multinational technology or high-growth global organization preferred.

Regional Experience

  • Experience facilitating executive discussions, workshops, and decision-making forums within multicultural environments.
