Associate Manager, Corporate Treasury

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

• Develop and implement treasury strategies covering cash management, liquidity planning, funding, and risk management to support business objectives and financial stability.
• Oversee foreign exchange, interest rate risk, and funding activities, including hedging strategies, to mitigate financial risks and market volatility.
• Monitor risk exposure and recommend appropriate risk mitigation actions.
• Manage relationships with banks and financial institutions, including negotiation of credit facilities, funding arrangements, and banking services to ensure competitive terms and adequate liquidity.
• Ensure treasury activities comply with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and applicable accounting standards.
• Maintain strong governance and internal controls within treasury operations.
• Supervise hedge accounting processes and fair value reporting in accordance with IFRS, including IFRS 9 requirements.
• Ensure accuracy and transparency in treasury-related financial reporting.
• Lead treasury system improvements, digitalization, and process automation initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and control.
• Provide regular insights and recommendations to senior management on market trends, liquidity position, funding structure, and financial risk exposure.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate treasury, banking, or financial risk management roles, with proven exposure to liquidity management, funding, and treasury operations.
• Strong knowledge of foreign exchange, derivatives, liquidity management, debt instruments, and financial markets.
• Solid expertise in hedge accounting, IFRS (especially IFRS 9), and financial risk management practices.
• Excellent leadership, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills. Strong analytical capability with advanced Excel modeling skills.
• Ability to communicate complex treasury matters clearly to senior management and operate effectively in a fast-paced environment.
